Why wasn't he out there? Injured?

Seems to me that if we had both Bijan and Keilan in the backfield at the same time they could both flair out to the flats and all they would have to do is catch the pass and make one person miss. Then they could gain 5 to 15 yards everytime.
But that's not all, in this scheme the linebackers would have to flair out with them. This would leave the short middle open, a crossing receiver could be open or Thompson could rush up the middle for a decent gain. Or surely one of the Robinsons could get open on a wheel route fast as they are. All kinds of good things could happen in this scheme but Keilan never got on the field, A WEAPON NEVER USED. WTF.
Somebody tell me how that scheme would not work.
That's all the more reason i am pissed. I am a couch coach and i can think of that.

I too have been very disappointed in the failure to take advantage of his skills. Maybe with Whittington out he'll get more opportunities.

    Yep.
    We need that speed.
Watching him run reminded me of Eric Metcalf.

Stats show he participated and I remember seeing him go in motion on one play.

But something is going on. His stats show carries in games this season: 8, 6, 5, 4, 0, 0. Bijan was going nuts against cTu, so maybe that makes sense (but give 5 a breather erry now and then - and Keilan caught two passes for 13 yards in that one).

Can he tackle or cover anyone? If so, there are spots available on defense!

I checked his stats and saw nothing. I'll check again however.
After checking again he had no stats, no touches.
    Pitiful.
I will opine that maybe he is being redshited or rather redshirted. But we could have used his talents yesterday. Or maybe they don't trust him to hold on the ball. I don't know. I hope he doesn't get pissed off and portal out later this year. He is a first rate talent up their with Bijan. He just hasn't yet had a chance to prove it.
As i think more and more about Sark i get a little pissed off. Cause he is making mistakes. Not as bad as Herman but he could do better.
I'll take a job as an analyst on his staff for 25 g. And give him reminders during the game. Seriously.

He was a captain this week which is a reflection likely of practice that week. Can’t believe he didn’t play. Even some lateral bubble screens in second half could’ve cooled the Ou attack and opened things up. I’ve only coached high school ball, but that’s too much speed and hustle to not have on the field. He has to be used more and with JWit he’ll be need more than ever.

OU bottled up Bijan the whole second half because they knew we couldn't block well and they could swarm him. Just giving him a small break and trying something with Keilan would have been helpful.

Bijan only had 20 carries. He didn’t need a break.

BR had lanes in the first half because of creative play calling. OU couldn’t isolate on him. We went conservative after the break and as a result, the run game stalled.

I agree that KR is a great talent but there’s no way I replace the best player in the country when that player is fresh, and playing at the top of his game.

Should we have had both in the game at the same time, and tried a jet sweep, screen or pitch? Now you’re talking.

    I don't know about that.
Bijan is all world where KRob has a particular set of skills. That need to be utilized.

Monday morning quarterbacking is always easy after a loss. I don't think it's that easy during a game for a coach to put in what is essentially a second or third stringer and tell him to go make a play.
Having said that, however, some players have a trait or talent that makes them superior in one category over the rest of the players whether it be speed, size, whatever. KR appears to me to be way faster than anyone else so it does beg the question of why haven't we created a package of plays to take advantage of that speed here and there during a game???

I think those packages go to Worthy from my couch. Not a terrible alternative.

I don't think it's our RB breadth that was the issue with the run game. Our OL did not create the holes in the 2nd half that they have been for Bijan

They didn't create many in the 1st half either, but he kept breaking tackles.

That's because the defense scheme differently eushing up the middle and we needed to counter that and we didn't
