My son (Augie, yes) hit a double and a triple today in his 12u baseball game.

Seriously I didn’t actually didn’t get to see much of the game but it sounds like Thompson was pretty bad. And coach k and the D almost* bailed the offense out this week. . Did sarkidian break his brain on OU last week and cone with nothing today?
Why can’t this team, going back several years and multiple coaches , play a complete football game?

Almost an exact copy from last week. Came out strong and played a pretty decent first half then just a complete collapsed in the second half mostly in the 4th quarter. The defense did it's job most of the game and the offense was pretty steady up until the mid to late 3rd quarter on.

Plus, we had a chance to come back after OSU took the lead but go 3 and out then the D basically gave the game away when they could have stopped them and give us one last shot to tie the game or win it.

The offensive line is garbage in the fourth quarter.

Terrible game by Casey...surprised not more people emphasizing this.
Plenty of mistakes but that pick 6 alone completely changed the entire game.

On the brightside for me, we also have season tickets for Purdue where my son is in the band. I bleed burnt orange but it was a little bit of healing salve to watch the Boilermakers dominate Iowa this afternoon.

Is it just me or has anyone else ever noticed the bright side always seems to be on the other side of Earth for us?

5:13 left in the first half. Nail in the coffin?

Maybe he meant the first nail? Coffin lids take several nails, if I'm not mistaken.

Okay, now that's a good point.

It was a huge swing. Possibly go up 21 and suddenly up by 7. Then, we sputter, and OSU kicked a FG.

I can't lay blame on Casey, he's obviously hurt. He's not been the same since injuring the finger on his throwing hand last week

I'd have put in card after the 2nd series in the 3rd. Let Casey heal, cross your fingers

sorry, I lost consciousness at some point and was so distraught when that happened, I thought it was later in the game....it just reminded me of the last few years and how we had teams beat and gave them every chance to beat us....
