I hope the divisional split is SEC West. Not the Pods. It would be fun to crash that party.

There was so much about that sounded hurried, nervous and fake.

So I am also looking at Woodard's other actions at LSU. He seeks big splash hires, like men's baseball and women's basketball, who can also bring players with them. If you look at the names mentioned, Jimbo has players that are good too great, that would likely move with him, including current recruits. Most of he others have local players, many north of the Mason Dixon line and unlikely to move south or unproven or "lesser talents". Kiffen is an exception but he seems to have a few of coach o's faults where as Jumbo's connection to o is that he speaks a different level of gibberish. And Jimbo beat Bama. And everyone knows hunting and fishing in Louisiana is pretty darn good.

Fisher and Swinney are gonna get mentioned for every half decent P5 opening. Smart agents are gonna help the rumors along, I expect.

Does it? He mentioned several things like hunting, the people and a few other things but, what would be his take if the payola was a lot more than aggie can scratch up? Every person has a price.

I think it is telling that there was no mention of “Waffle House”.

Dang it, all the contracts and coach needs are confusing me. Cant believe all coach contracts don't involve Waffle House or at least a "Grand Slam Breakfast" ...

Well, we all hate to admit it, but as that win over 'Bama hinted at, Jimbo may indeed be building something special down in Collieville. Next year they have a 5 star QB coming in, Conner Weigman (sp?). That might be the missing piece. Their defense is solid and they have a lot of young OL coming up.

I doubt it. I think they’ll lose two more this year, and 5 star QBs are far from a sure bet. We’ve had our share of disappointments.

Fisher is a slippery dude. Anyone that obsessively denies anything and talks fast and nervously while doing so is usually hiding something in my experience. Guess we will see.

Part of the exit deal: all gas stations from Austin to Jacksonville will be "fair game" for Coach O.

    I can certainly understand that.

As we have seen too many times in the last year or so, if a coach moves, current and future players are in play as well. LSU hired a baseball and basketball coach with players in tow. If a five star QB is committed to a coach rather than a team, the price of the coach just went up.
