    WorsterMan SEC here we come!!

It's Monday, it's overcast outside and I'm in a melancholy mood today thinking about someone very special that died suddenly & unexpectantly in late 2020.

I have not been quite the same since.... this album takes me back to first days.

Still in a Moody Blues frame of mind.... true greatness.

7th Sojourn album reminds me of fall 1972, my Freshmen year in college living in the dorm listening to this album and drinking beer with my roommate....

Better man than me Worster, when I was in college ‘guzzling’ beer was a more apt description, ah heck, inhaling was even better. Sad case.

The core 7 were a lot more than just 7 unique albums, they were a musical culture and lifestyle. When Mike Pinder left all that seemed to change. No doubt they had some great albums and songs after that, I even love December Snow, but the culture didn't seem to be there anymore and the albums didn't send the same message as before. And Moraz was just a mistake. He didn't fit with the others and offered nothing more than just being a decent keyboard player.

Too bad Pinder had to leave.

Agree 100%. Pinder left in 1978 after the album Octave and they were just not quite the same after that. Although Long Distance Voyager - circa 1981 is one of my fav albums of theirs - a masterpiece.

The last time I saw them was about 3 years ago at a casino outside Minneapolis. Edge was still drumming, with Hayward on guitar, Lodge on bass guitar. Ray Thomas had died about a year earlier so there were some backups for keyboard and other stuff.

They still sounded GREAT and the crowd was going nuts including my group.

Bat out of Hell - a collection of songs for men that only men can appreciate & love.

Guy was a great performer, perhaps the only one to ever rival James Brown.
