Ha ha ha! The best aggy team in decades just went 8-4 and 4-4 in the SEC west leaving them in a three way tie for 3rd place with Arky and the Pirate. If not for their once a decade win against Bama they should be 7-5. Another National Championship is just around the corner.
What happened on the last play? Aggies called timeout and ESPN switched to the Spoiled Children/cult game.
Just after Oklahoma starts their own series of flubs, OSU defender stupidly shoves the runner to the ground a couple seconds after the whistle. Would have turned a 4th down and 20 from their own 10 into a first down. Refs pick up the flag. Not sure why. Cowboys VERY lucky there.
Agree The receiver had controll when the tip of the ball was making contact with the ground. Meantime his knee was down before the roll. They totally missed it They scored a td a few plays later anyway.
Aggie got rolled by the refs plus their own inanity. First on punt return, the returner bounces around on the sideline, bumps into ag tacklers twice and somehow loses the ball. Refs call play dead with forward motion stopped. Hard to see what actually happened but it wasn’t reviewed. Second, tiger receiver pushed off ag DB on TD pass.
Now OU's turn to muff a punt at their own 5. Fun game, but neither of these squads looks like a playoff team right now. Crazy thing is the sooner offense hasn't scored this half.
Their D allowed LSU to go 85 yards in <2 minutes. That’s what cost them the game. Refs and bad calls are part of the game. Terrible D loses you games like this one.
If we had a non-sucky season, I bet we would have played Aggie in the Texas bowl with SEC’s blessing.
The 11 game is the preferred daytime slot for teams in the Eastern and Central time comes. Despite sucking, Texas generates viewers which is all the networks care about.
The Prarie View game shouldn't count. Another conference game and they would be 7-5 overall. The sec and acc gets an extra gimme every year.
