It sits well with me that OU lost on suspect calls. They always get the calls, or no calls. Nice way to cap what has otherwise been a dismal football season, especially for the Horns.

Not sure anything about getting to 5 wins against 7 losses can ever be a component of “perfect”. I would agree with “best we could hope for under the most craptastic of circumstances.”

    Very pleased ou lost.

Big XII Championship will not include them. Bailor & Okie Lite.

Hope pokes win as they, on the surface, are not ok with football players raping women and getting away with it

The committee, the committee, the committee.
Will they see that Alabama is suspect and move them down or will it take a Georgia victory next week.

Well, OU did look to have gotten away being offside a couple of times. Although OSU got away with the late hit which was huge since it was after a failed 3rd down conversion.

But the no-call on 2nd down at the end there looked correct to me - the OU receiver grabbed the defender's arm and pulled it in, making it look like the DB was wrapping the arm around him.

I thought OU's problem at the end was they got to the 25 and then just took 4 straight low-odds shots at the endzone and never tried to get closer to give themselves 3-4 attempts with better chances. And then in the end, they lost because they had 8 offensive possessions in the 2nd half and came away with 0 points; 1 fumble, 2 failed 4th downs, 5 punts.

Alabama might get in despite a loss. Michigan and OSU lose they're a lock.

They beat GA, they’re in, and so is GA. Lose and they’re out.

Georgia might be the one with the suspect schedule. A bad Clemson team on the first week of the season is about the toughest team they played.

Clemson bad? They are 9-3 with their losses to teams that have a combined total of 5 losses of their own.

Not so fast my friend. One must remember the objectives of “The Committee”.
    1. Expensive fine dining around meetings.
    2. Manipulation of “who’s best” for the sake of creating the big dance.
    3. Maximizing advertising revenue from the largest viewing audiences.
    4. Protecting the chosen teams and conferences from the embarrassment of getting beat by lowly irrelevant teams.

Bama could get in with a loss to GA. D-1 football is the only athletic event in the US that does not select a champion with a ground up process of elimination through head to head competition. Selection by committee is a fraudulent endeavor and the most embarrassing part is that American sports fans fall for it, hook, line and sinker. Mythical National Champs will be celebrated.

Hard not to agree with that, as we recently have experienced it ourselves with great regularity.

Lots of poor coaching yesterday most notably:

    1) Harsin had Bama beat. Only needed to run out the clock. Running back runs out of bounds leaving Saban an additional 40 seconds.
    2) Jimbo as well. That 3rd and 2 call killed the clock and had no chance. Aggy did appear to get screwed on the fumble take away though.
