    Halrex,
There's a whole thread about number 25. There were people on this forum who actually believe he is good and needed to start. Smh

On paper and/or ability, yes; on attitude, not so much. I kept waiting for a change, and it never materialized.

Speaking of LBs, I was flipping channels and heard the name Marqez Bimage. He had 4 tackles in the game for Cal. 33 tackles on the season with 7.5 TFL and 1 sack. More depth and possible starter that left Texas.

Had a season high 7 tackles against Oregon.

Foster had his moments, both good and bad no doubt. The problem was: Who were you going to stick in there that was better on a consistent basis?

    HalRex,

I like the kid, and he has great talent, but I don't think he saw the field in the second half. I haven't watched the recording yet.

Schooler was back there, and while I don't know the kid, I'm sure he's a fine young man, but he's out of position more often than the fat lady in the circus.

Sark was not pleased with his effort on the long qb run.

I'm sorry but what "effort"? At the time I was offering him my iphone to film it.

Decent is certainly better than no speed. I witnessed that.

Ford is going to be a really, really good player.

Brock was a solid, slow LB this season. But maybe putting in speedier LBs (Ford) was helpful in containing.

I am also of the mind that we need more hats on the line, or LBs in the gaps. when we give them all day to pass and sink into zones, good QBs just wait for their guys to find the space. i don't like that all of our "all gas" is spent running away from the LOS.

Seemed to be to be brains and not effort. His angle was abysmal and gave himself no chance to make the play.

No one outside of Roschon Johnson scored highly on the weekly PFF grades. But I was a little surprised at how bad some of the defenders scored, considering the final game was probably the best D they've shown all season.

Foster got the lowest score for the D (no surprise), but the next 3 lowest were Richardson, Ford, and Gbenda. So literally our entire LB squad was by far the worst unit on Friday. We desperately need some LB transfers up in here... Gary Johnson might be our best success story of the last 5 years on D, and guys like him don't grow on trees. But man I'd love to pick up a leader like that.
