Alabama always seems to figure out how to win, but I see Georgia winning this by more than 10 points.
I learned long ago to never bet against Saban. Could be wrong, but I'll stick with Ms Terry's roommate.
We do have a season long competition for picking winners via the ESPN Hornfans competition. I would suggest people enter next year or pick in the upcoming bowl competition. It is fun and helps me and other competitors decide who on this site to listen to :>)).
Hard to bet against Saban. But this could be the year since, for the first time ever, a former assistant (Jimbo) beat him. Still, I’m going with Bama, 27-17.
My Dad told me back in the 70’s to never bet against Tom Landry. Like Sabre, I wouldn’t bet against Saban. I hope Georgia wins, but I’m guessing Bama in an upset.
SabreHorn, I have learned to respect your insights - you normally have the correct interpretations. It's rare for you to be wrong - but I think this is one of those rare times. I'm guessing: Georgia 17 Alabama 14
I saw Georgia play once vs Clemson. Great D, not much O. I saw Bama play twice, vs Aggy and Auburn. I give them credit for that clutch drive vs Auburn but otherwise not impressed in either game. So I really only know from what I read and scores I see, which indicate a Georgia win. Picking a number I'll go: Georgia. 24 Bama. 13
I think the Dog’s D is going to expose Bama’s o-line weakness and rip ‘em a new one and I’m gonna enjoy every minute of it.
I feel bad for Georgia fans. They have brought so many great teams to the SEC CCG going back to when Richt was their coach and theyve lost quite a few more than theyve won.
Well Sabre and I told you. Kind of like the guy who said he and Michael Jordan combined for 72 points when he had one free throw. I’ll take it.
Well, SabreHorn was right (as usual) and I was wrong. The Bama OL looked totally different from the one last week against Auburn. Bama has definitely earned their way into the Playoffs - and I suspect Georgia will be there also.
