"You see Coach Sark, when their defense stacks 8 or more men in the box, you need to throw the ball at that point. If they're killing you with LB or Safety blitzes, you might consider leaving a RB in the backfield to help block and pick up the blitzer; your Roschon Johnson might just do the trick." (just in jest folks... I'm probably one of Sark's biggest supporters on this website, and perhaps one of Coach K's only supporters on this website)
Seriously, I think Patterson just helps defend B12 offenses. A tweek here and there. You can tell but work is really slow here for me, Good grief I just found myself posting on the west mall which I never do. Football post sometimes get me so mad I can slap a baby, Lord help me shuffling through the West Mall
He sure had a knack for kicking our butz over the years—and doing so with a lot lower-ranked recruits.
Great schemes Half time adjustments Giva a dang fearless get's you most of the way there. As loyal as that man was to TCU, I am glad that CDC faith in Patterson is on the burnt orange side of the ledger.
Sark has good reasons to interview Patterson. If he is hired, give it time. His input may pay dividends....
Support him or not, contract or not, CDC support or not, the man has to feel some anxiety. Last year was not good by any standard.
But it's true <skip> But it's true <skip> But it's true <skip> But it's true <skip> But it's true <skip>
Or Sark is smart enough, after last seasons defensive performance, to know that side of the ball could use some help. Maybe Coach K is on a short leash for next season and who better to have waiting in the wings than Patterson.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Or something like that. Would rather have Patterson on the side of the BurntOrange rather than going against him someplace else.
