Now all they need is Tom Herman as an offensive consultant, and they're set up in Norman.

    :rolleyes1::rolleyes1::rolleyes1:

Q: With Todd Graham what could go wrong?
    A: Just about everything.

I think he’s having a MACKOVIC in Arizona type of player revolt. Coach Graham’s own son entered the portal to get away from it… :yikes:

Since the legislature is getting involved in college football :rolleyes1:, maybe they should place some legal hurdles to NIL payments coming in from out of state or something. Their top high school players usually end up in the PAC or elsewhere.

Bret Bielema fired his OC, Tony Peterson.

Barry Lunney, Jr. (UTSA OC) is getting a lot of mention as the potential replacement. (not a done deal yet) Lunney previously coached TEs at Arkansas under Bielema.

Bret Bielema zeroing in on target for Illinois OC job, per report

Des Kitchings (Atlanta Falcons RB coach) will be the Virginia Cavaliers' new OC.

(As bards and The Stewart's Cavaliers rejoiced and made merry--all with a rather Cavalier attitude. :rolleyes1:)

Kitchings leaves Falcons for OC job at UVA

Walked out of a head coach position at Duke...not saying Duke is the premier head coaching job...after 3 weeks on the job. Is that a lateral move? I have no idea but it's another coach that commits one place and within weeks is off to something better. I don't know how you really get a commitment from anyone anymore.

Mike Elko left aggie for the HC job at Duke. He’s solid there and filling his staff out. Durkin is the apparent selection to replace Elko as DC at aggie. Durkin is coming over from same role at Ole Miss.

Ohio State fired their OL coach, Greg Studrawa.

And, just in, the Buckeyes' new OL coach will be Justin Frye (UCLA OC).
(that didn't take long... :smile1:). I saw a few UCLA games this year, and they seemed abnormally strong and tough in the trenches for a West Coast team not named USC--in a good year.

Justin Frye to be named Ohio State football’s new O-line coach

(somebody remind me again--why are we supposed to hate this storied program? :rolleyes1:)

Cancel any plans to travel to Oklahoma for the next week. This news will have already caused a breakout of celebrations that will likely last for weeks, and causing massive numbers of drunks to be on the road.

LSU is reportedly looking to poach Cortez Hankton (Georgia WRs coach). Not a done deal yet. LSU is really forking out the $$$$ for Kelly's new coaching staff. The Bayou Bengals will regain relevance at a high level--just a matter of time. You can bank on it.

Mack needs to hire a personal trainer and food coach as well. He looked terrible at the Bowl game, and about 8-1/2 months pregnant, ready to give birth to a small keg. Old and overweight is a terrible health combination.

Financially, would be a good move for him. He could jump to the NFL with some high $$$ contract, would have a few years of earnings no matter what, then be set. The Big 10 CC and win against OSU saved him this year, but history has lots of coaches who had a single good year followed by a bad one, and then the boot. Like a Jonny Mak in 97 scenario.

Culture shock if noting else. LA and Morgantown are on opposite ends of the culture spectrum.
