Audrey provided a great spark for that recovery from a very poor start

Well, Audrey has certainly redeemed herself. Now, Jo Anne needs to stop pushing and making bone-headed decisions. In her last two plays she should have pulled up and passed off the ball. Play like the senior you are, Gal!:hookem:

As if she hasn't already proven it, I think Matharu has put an exclamation point on why she should be a starter for the rest of the season.

Coach Dionna Jackson not on the bench tonight? Broadcasters mention why?

Glad for the win. Felt like we hadn't beaten WVU in a while, and watching last season's games against them was ZERO fun.

It's just feast or famine for some of our players so often this season. Gaston and Allen-Taylor were just not focused tonight, IMO; Joanne still played 39 minutes, so I guess her defense must have been the reason (0 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 turnovers)? We can't have 2 starters score a combined 2 points (all from the free throw line).

If we can ever get 5 players to play their best on the offensive end in the same game, we might be onto something; tonight we had 4 players in double figures, so getting closer!

Hope Vic realizes (by now) that Matharu is our best scoring guard, and really needs to make her the first scoring option; and, hope Matharu realizes that she needs to stay out of foul trouble and remain on the court as much as possible. She was interviewed by the radio guy after the game, and she is a joy to listen to; very witty young lady.

Now that's the Texas team that started the year.Except with better play from AM and Harmon and Warren. We had W.Virginia so frustrated.

It didn't look good early down 7-0 and 10-2. As was already mentioned, Warren came off the bench and really sparked our offense with several good decisions on the offensive end and playing in control.
