The pokes are predictably getting it handed to them by San Fran 23-7 starting the 4th quarter. Everyone I know was so excited and I kept telling everyone they would lose...they haven't yet, but I have no belief. Besides the "they've won one playoff game in 26 years" they've beaten 4 teams with a winning record this year and haven't beaten a quality opponent all year.

Here are the only teams they've beaten with a winning record this year:

    9-8 Chargers - no playoffs
9-8 Philly - crushed by TB 1st round
9-8 New Orleans - no playoffs
10-7 New England - crushed by Buffalo 1st round

Every other team they beat had a losing record. Hype, hype, and more hype. Just another typical Dallas team.

I'm working and got bored so just checked the score. I can't bring myself to watch and of that crap, but it's fun to make fun of cowboy fans who really thought they had a chance.

Why? He is who he is, and who he was on the Forty. I was grateful when he decided to leave early. If you're going to hold every play, you better get good enough to conceal it. He didn't, and he hasn't.

SF just made a dumb interception to set Cowgirls up at the Sf 30. If they can score, they’re back in the game . 23-10 SF at this moment.

As long as Jerah is GM, Dallas will not win a SuperBowl. I do think the play calling was inept, but still….NO SUPERBOWL FOR YOU

Cowboys lose 23-17, boo hoo. With seconds left, Dak inexplicably runs the football instead of letting the Hail Mary fly. He’s dumber than a box of rocks. Probably could have had 2 shots at it if he’d have passed.

So what? He will still be hired for endorsements, and imbeciles will buy jerseys with is name on them, and, inexplicably, wear them.

    HIC,

He is the hope of the downtrodden. Makes a hundred million with a ten cent brain, accomplishes nothing and still gets paid for working two hours a week only 17-20 weeks a year.

    Isn't America great?

And many of the dolts who buy his jersey can't make the rent next month, but by gawd they have a jersey. Lol

Epic and perfect cowboy style ending to the game. I saw a clip and fans are blaming refs for the loss because he ran into Dak costing 1 to 2 seconds.

If anyone has that thought let's be real clear. Dak didn't give the ref room to spot the ball so the ref had to push his way through. That ball wasn't being hiked until the ref could do his job.

I'm not suffering because there is a part of me that likes Jerry to lose. It's weird. I grew up in Ft Worth and cut my teeth on Dandy Don and Roger the Dodger, but I don't mind watching Jerry suffer. I thought the play calling was below par also. But my god, have you ever seen a team (besides Texas, of course) that commits so many stupid penalties. These guys aren't college kids. They're pros. Just inexplicable.

That was a bit clumsy of the ref but Dallas almost certainly wasn't going to get the play off in time anyway. If they were really gonna run up the middle they needed to slide sooner, and then hand the ball right to the nearest official or else leave it right there on the turn for the ref to tap and confirm the spot.

Huh? They've won four playoff games in that time span.

I watch very very little NFL, but do hope the Cowboys win on Sundays. Today I thought I'd relax and watch the game. That lasted about 15 minutes. They quickly reminded me I why I don't bother watching.

Took a short nap. Went to the gym and organized some things around the house.

Life is more peaceful without the Cowboys.

George Bailey No beans in my chili, thank you

I've been a Cowboys fan since I was old enough to know what they were, and I probably always will be. But with age, I've learned to temper my expectations. As long as anyone with the last name of Jones has anything to do with the team, they're not going to win much more than an NFC East title.

Jer'ruh is trash, and trash begets trash. Exhibit 'A':

It doesn't matter how much talent the cowgirls have they'll still find a way to #&%@ it up. Most penalties ever in a playoff game. A farm animal has to be smarter that Gregory. And well coached teams don't lead the league in penalties.

I said before the game started the cowboys would self destruct with penalties. Well.

The past couple of years has had the feeling of a coach that's just going through the motions. You're right, well-coached teams are disciplined and don't commit double-digit penalties.

Well coached teams dont kill themselves with mistakes when the chips are on the table.....I hate to rag on an ex Horn but Connor Williams is the worst excuse for a OL i've ever seen, he's a holding penalty waiting to happen........the Jimmy Johnson curse lives on.

I'm not suffering because Jerry Jones caused me to entirely quit on the NFL back in 1995 or 1996. I am celebrating because I like to see Jerry lose.

Agree. I'm guessing the brainiacs at Valley Ranch are looking at replacement LGs as we speak. God bless him, but he's just flat out in over his head. Speaks volumes to why we've been so bad for so long. If he's our gold standard of OL no wonder we suck.

Uh...Valley Ranch is a housing development now. The brainiacs moved uptown to Frisco several years ago. The move hasn't made a difference in the decisions to be average at best, but the bank accounts are full and are added to regularly.

Yes, but not with even one of my dollars. How much of other people's money they accumulate isn't really my concern.

Now, you know that's ********, right?
Not to mention a fairly horrific injury last year.
Not here to defend Dak or the huge amounts of money some NFL players make.
    But you're just being silly.
