Except that Biden is a move toward the center from the Democratic party.

In polling locations they're just handing out ballots and checking in voters. Bipartisan representation there is window dressing. The serious work takes place when absentee ballots are received, opened, and counted. She always advised people to only pay for recounts on absentees. The machines are almost always spot on and you pay for a recount based on the number of votes. Absentees can gain (or lose) for a number or reasons.

I'd agree that Biden is a "middle" Democrat, even moreseo than Obama who wasn't as "left" as he was portrayed.

My agreement was specific the geriatric POTUS party nominees. It's time for the these candidates to put aside their narcissism and acquiesce to younger candidates on all sides of the political spectrum.

Biden was supposed to be a move to the center, but whoever is actually acting as POTUS is not. They have shifted further left which is why independents will swing red in November.

Biden is captive to those who nominated him over Bernie and Pocahontas et al: sweet old black ladies in South Carolina. If the Dems lose their grip on blacks who vote they are cooked. Just like the gop is toast if it loses the fundamentalists

Biden’s real test comes when he loses the house and has to cut deals with some republicans.

we are all in trouble in 2024 when neither pack can field a candidate acceptable to hordes of people in their own party.

I fall back on the great ee cummings who wrote “there is some $hit I will not eat”

the parties keep serving up plates of it and I keep taking passes

They're the court packing, kill the filibuster, eliminate student debt, etc. crew.

He wouldn't shoot down court packing, is pushing to kill the filibuster for this stupid *** elections bill, is eliminating student debt that he can by executive order, etc. And of course, BBB is largely Bernie Sanders's work. Rhetorically he's not with them, but legislatively, he's courting the hard left more than any president ever has.

First off, Biden is as brain dead as your average nursing home resident. Look at his stream of consciousness presser he had the other day, where he babbled on publicly about confidential strategies on what to do about Ukraine.

He, or really his handlers, have gone with the extreme leftist flow of the current Democrat party. As above, he's yet to say No to any of their wet dreams like expanding the SC to 13 or 29 members, the Federal takeover of elections to allow mandatory vote by mail fraud, spending money like a crack fiend with a credit card in their kid's name, etc.

He's down to 25% of the country wanting this tired old fool to run for re-election in 24, and that's assuming he makes it that far. I still think after the whipping the Democrat party will take in November, he'll be shown the door via threats of KGBI investigations into Hunter and his crooked dealings. DOCTOR JILL!!! will huff and puff, even more so since the Cackler (who she hates)will now be pres, but she won't have a choice. The KGBI can be very persuasive, especially with a target rich environment like Biden Inc. to investigate.

    This.

2 major pieces of legislation. Covid Relief (take 2) and Infrastructure. Both were popular across party lines in polls but neither side received any appreciable R votes.

The most "left" item in those 2 pieces of legislation was paying out that Child Tax Credit early over multiple months. What seemed like a subsidy was simply an early tax benefit which ended at the calendar year and won't be renewed.

If you look at the hit list of Progressive priorities what's been done?
    - Minimum wage increase. NOPE
    - Eliminate student debt. NOPE
    - Climate change. Yes, within the infrastructure bill but smaller than asked.
    - Voting rights bill. NOPE
    - Additional Covid Relief ($$ for schools retrofitting, COVID programs, testing etc.) Yes
    - Infrastructure. Yes
    - Immigration. Not really, we're simply not going to be a-holes to immigrants. We are still catching them, still deporting them and generally handling them like we always had minus the rhetoric.

For the infrastructure R's simply didn't like that D's included $$ to fix aging water systems (like Flint!), high-speed internet, or EV charging stations! Essentially it wasn't that they didn't think we needed "infrastructure" but simply that they didn't get to choose who received the $$. Of course, those same politicians are now taking credit over and over and over for pork heading back to their constituents.

Biden over promised OR the expectations of the far left were too high depending on your perspective. I get that many don't like the big spending. I don't either but if you didn't raise a fit during the last POTUS term then you don't have a leg to stand on. You're just a partisan sniper now bitter than your side isn't spending on your pet projects...like a stupid wasteful wall.

Lot's can change between now an 2023. I keep wondering if may R's may look to a more "pure" R candidate, like Pence. Trump has taken some lumps and his insistence of talking about 2020 is losing him some R support. I think DeSantis star shined too bright too early.

Pence has no chance. An OK VP, certainly better than the nervously laughing Joker who's sitting in that seat now, but no level of support in the Republican party. Why would they? What's he done, or delivered?

Remember, the media / leftist complex said he was the living embodiment of the Handmaiden Tale, ready to sent women off to sexual slavery, all while being himself gay - till he was out of office and not a threat to them. Now's he's the "quiet, respectable" Republican they want to see nominated. Unless he was, then back to the Handmaiden's tale. It's a predictable as it is boring.

Taking advice from leftists on who to nominate is like letting the Cleveland Browns' Fan Club give draft advice to the Steelers.

As for DeSantis, he was considered Death-Santis!!! by leftists - for doing the exact same things they are doing now, with similar Wuhan numbers. Now I guess the party line that's gone out is that he's a flash in the pan, and doing the right things on the Wuhan was last year's story. Whatever.

He'll whip up on either Tan Man or Brain Dead Nikki in the FLA governors race (the DNC has already given up on spending money there as Florida is pretty much a lost cause now for the Democrat party), then be in a great position to run in 24.

Yeah, it's rubbish. 2 million ran across the border last year, with them being given pieces of paper to appear at a later date in court - but if they don't, no worries, they don't get deported unless they commit violent felonies. They're replacement voters for the Democrat party as they lose the votes of Americans.

So, how are these non-citizens voting?

When you can register to vote with an electric bill, and either mail it in no questions asked, or vote in person with no ID, you should be able to figure even that out.

    https://eforms.com › images › 2017 › 10 › California-Voter-Registration-Form.pdf

    Money shot:
    Voting by mail:
    • A first-time voter who registers by
    mail
must submit a COPY of one of
the following documents with his or
    her absentee ballot:
    1) current and valid photo identification;
    OR
    2) current utility bill, bank statement,
    government check,
    paycheck, or other government
    document that shows the name
    and address of the voter.

California places more emphasis on keeping Arizonians from voting in their elections than Mexicans.

What evidence do you have that undocumented immigrants in large numbers want to give their home address to the government just for the purpose of voting? Heck, they try to hide it from the schools their kids are required to attend for far of INS.

Here is an article from the Libertarian CATO Institute that says the volume is low.

That article says nothing about undocumented immigrants. It relies on old research about non-citizens. How in the world could someone find illegal aliens to take a survey. They would look like Joe Biden wandering around in low income areas.

Hence, therefore, and To Wit: How can you say the illegals aren't voting? Further, why would we let someone vote based on an electric bill?

The phrase is illegal aliens - we won't turn you in for Meanie Speech here such that you'll be run out of your educational complex job.

There's about as much chance that a Democrat run state like California, Oregon, or Washington will investigate illegals for voting, as a prohibition era Speakeasy checks ID's for underage drinking. Why would they, when that's their voting base?
