A guy that Texas worked hard on to get to campus today is DT Zalance Heard of Monroe, LA, but his family couldn't make it, per IT. The staff is expected by his high school next week, and he's had an offer for a while.
Gary Patterson working his new gig today at the Texas Elite Day. Patterson was hired this week as the Special Assistant to the Head Coach. So strange to see this.

Okay, in the posts above, I saw 2 great TE’s and a bunch of support players. I thought we would do better this weekend and have at least 4-5 TE’s visiting. Meh!
Saw the state championship game and he was the guy I kept noticing. He always was either open or just made the play. Didnt seem super fast but maybe because he's a big guy however nobody could stop him. I feel like he would be a huge get if he chooses us. Whats up with the barbers chair I keep seeing?
If I'm not mistaken, the players have access to a full service barber shop within the facilities. Yet another example of the unwelcoming, inequitable culture these poor lads must endure.
Hammer envisions an offense with 10 TE's and a quarterback. This might occasionally skew his assessments.
Hammer just knows that OU hasn't covered the TE in half a century, so maybe he's thinking if we have three or four, our QB can find one of the four open TEs.
