    A. Lee last year vs Texas:

    5 points, 4 rebounds, 5 fouls in 13 minutes

    9 points, 2 rebounds, 5 fouls in 17 minutes

So I guess we’re doomed without Charli Collier this year?

Carr was their lead scorer in both games and she transferred. Charli was ours. It should be a good game. Last year we had huge runs in the second quarter that determined the game.

Lee can't score if she can't receive a decent pass. That's what I'm counting on.

Personally I don't like the idea of putting a .759 FT shooter on the line, along with putting other players on the line a lot with how quick the bonus comes in the women's game. Play hard and tight, but try to avoid the fouls.

That’s exactly why I have that user blocked and has been for over a year now. They have been so negative for the past two years now and I see nothing has changed:facepalm:

Putting a team that just went 25-27 last game at the foul line seems slightly crazy. I’m all for playing tough D but fundamentally good without the reaching. We sure need refs that will “let ‘em play” tonight. I’ll miss the game tonight as I’m picking up daughter at airport. So I’m depending on ya’ll to coach the players, Schaefer and refs hard. I’ll DVR for late evening stress.

I was looking at it more of there will be more options in case someone gets in foul trouble to guard Lee than actually going the “hack-a-Lee” strategy. We definitely won’t be fouling her on purpose tonight.

KState is tall. Their starting 5 are all 6 feet and over. We’ll have to rely on quickness and conditioning. We’ve done a good job defensively on most teams. I really hope our outside game is there tonight.

Stop Lee and drain the three.

Thank you. That was my point. Perhaps could have worded it better. I was not advocating "foul at every opportunity".

30-17 Texas at the half. They are executing their game plan perfectly! This half couldn’t of been anymore perfect for our lady horns!

Well, can’t say the Longhorns didn’t come out focused tonight. Rori’s fall was scary and hope she is good to go. I’m not disappointed with a single Longhorn’s performance tonight. Only 4 fouls so we should be good to go for a strong defensive performance the 2nd half

Audrey coming off the bench has been quite the elixir since Vic made that decision. It also lessens here chance for foul problems. I like that she didn’t have to come in the game in Qtr 1 actually

Texas is playing damn near perfect, but we gotta clean up these free throws. If I had one complaint that’s the one. Make your free throws, ladies!!

Lol!!! Audrey Warren misses her first shot (layup) of the entire game with 20 seconds left and JAT turns it into 3 points

If I’m not mistaken, Vic kept his jacket on the entire game!

She and JAT looked so happy during that sequence. So glad to see the team having fun and buying in to Coach Vic's methods. The team has really jelled since Audrey has been coming in off the bench and Matharu has been starting!

53% at the line and 15 turnovers were the only not so bright spots tonight I’d say

I was really glad to see Rori back in the game to start the 2nd Half. Odd looking fall she took and I was afraid it caused a “hammy” or something like that which is not a quick recovery usually. She’s a tough young lady

Honestly IMO, she belongs as the 6th player. She’s been so efficient since the move and has looked so damn good!

Good game Ladies. Love the progress of this team. If we can stay health there is no telling how good this team will be in a couple of months.
