    HAWAII

Josh Brown (UTEP Safeties coach) to Hawaii as Da' Bows' new Safeties coach. Brown has coached at Cal-Poly and he also coached at Nevada when new Hawaii head coach Chang was there.

Gattis probably wanted more $$$ and Michigan was having none of it. I can't imagine it's fun working for Jim Harbaugh either.

On the other hand, Mario seems both liked and respected. And he’s from down there in S Florida. The Canes may work their way back up to the big time.

He has as good a chance as anyone else. I'm not sure he warrants all the accolades though. His record at Oregon was good but that team **** the bed in key games this year when they were expecting to compete for the playoffs.

Lovie is ten times the coach that Flores ever dreamed of being. Of course, Lovie will fail because it's hard to compete in the NFL when all your GM gives you is HS level talent.

Hope Lovie gets enough money that he can go back to Upshur or Gregg County and retire comfortably.

“The Auburn administration is judiciously collecting information from a variety of perspectives, including from a variety of perspectives, including our student-athletes, and moving swiftly to understand any issues in accordance with university policies and procedures,” Auburn said in a statement. “Decisions regarding the future of Auburn and its athletics programs, as always, are made in the interests of our great university and in fairness to all concerned. We do not make institutional decisions based on social media posts or media headlines.”

Meanwhile, on message boards and forums across this great Internet... Many of their fans are calling for Hugh Freeze as their next coach.

Not a bad cultural and ethical fit, I suppose...

It's Auburn, Clemson without the lake; nothing to do. Closest town is Opelika, which is kinda like looking forward to going to Kountze. Closest real town is Montgomery. and hour down I-85, but keep in mind that besides being the state capitol & where Hank Williams is buried, it is also the cancer capital of Alabama.

Point is, if you have nickel more than you're supposed to in Auburn, everyone knows you have it, where it came from, and what you spent it on. The highest profile citizen of the town ain't hidin nuthin from nobody - see also Buster Brown, aka, Terry Bowden.

    Chop,

Play nice. The "ja" family gave us one of the best TEs we have ever had, and the Packers thought so as well. Personal family issues caused him to leave early, but he did the Horns proud in the NFL before getting injured. Quite frankly I think of A&M, OU, and us, we got the best one.

Yep. Charlie has a good defensive mind. A defensive position coach is exactly where he should be. Just don’t let him run the whole team’s workouts, or administer bizarre punishments to the injured players.

Sorry, Charley Strong does not have a good defensive mind. He oversaw the worst defense in Texas history..in his third year…
