It doesn't mean anything. Like I said I'm just speculating and being a conspiracy theorist.

Well VA fired Tina. So let the coaching carousel begin.

Yea, Creme had Duke in the Next Four Out before the tournament started. I don’t see them making the NCAA’s this year and needed a much better showing in the conference tournament. Rough year for Celeste with that shoulder injury and missing quite a few games earlier in the season. Wish she would have stayed in Austin but definitely her decision

I’m with Blair on this…..give some of the up and coming assistants a chance. The women’s college game has been short of good coaches. My perspective has changed. Let’s quit stealing and recycling and give the assistants a chance. Of course this means leave Schaefer alone.

Arizona upset 45-43 by Colorado in the quarterfinals of the PAC tourney. That helps us (hopefully) stay in front of them for one of the #3 seeds (as long as we win our next 2 games, IMO).

To say he was possibly “running from something” is far more than speculating and more akin to being a conspiracy theorist. Why even say it if you have no evidence???

I watched the Duke/Miami game and I can not say that Kara Lawson has done a good job of coaching this team. They really looked out of sorts and lethargic. When their offensive sets broke down they seemed to go into panic mode. Duke was very lucky to beat Pitt in their previous game. Pitt led most of the game but the point guard for Duke, Day-Wilson, took over and willed the win over Pitt at the end. Celeste made her choice and she was such a perfect fit for Vic's offense at Texas.

I concur Ellis. I've watched Duke a few times this year and each time I shake my head at the lack of defensive pressure. I get the impression there is no emphasis on defense.

Would love Celeste to have remained at Texas. She was built for Vic's defense and dribble drive system. I too saw her play last night and before the final buzzer, she was in tears on the bench because she knew that was their last game of the season and Duke would not make the NCAA.

Because of the pandemic there was no place for team building. I forgot which player was being interviewed talking about last season and the way they jelled at the end and they said the bubble during the NCAA’s was the first time they got to spend any time with each other off the court the whole season. Which means they spent little time bonding with the coaching staff either and I think that had a factor in our loss of Celeste. She was my favorite player and I hated to see her leave.

Omg! I just watched Amber Ramirez (Arkansas) block an Ailiyah Boston shot (her 4th of the season). Of course Boston ran down the court and immediately blocked Arkansas’ shot

So I’m reminded that another really good reason to avoid the #4 seed watching #4 seed Maryland go down to #5 seed Indiana in the B1G tournament. I especially don’t want to white knuckle a Kansas matchup right off the bat

It always find it amusing that there are some imposters on this forum who act as though they want Vic to succeed at Texas, but their facade is much more transparent than they think.

Don’t look now but #7 seed Kentucky is leading #2 seed LSU by 20 (45-25) at Halftime.

Yikes! I'm behind. I am still watching the end of Louisville vs Miami. I have the LSU game on record.

SEC refs actually gave Mulkey a T as they should have. Big 12 refs would have been too scared to T her up.

Well she did run almost 10 feet out on the court and almost tackled the ref. I thought with that long review they were going to throw her out!

Glad to report that Kentucky beat LSU 78-63. Rhyne Howard had about 32 points for the Cats. She can just dominate a game!

He didn’t have much of a choice - she went after him as if he said polyester and sequins were tacky.

You were right. LSU fought back pretty well in second half. Glad Kentucky prevailed. I wanted to see Howard. I'm waiting to see who Washington Mystics will choose with the first draft pick.

And Miami came back to beat Louisville. Great comeback from Miami. Shocking offensive collapse from Louisville.

Yea I watched a lot of the first half of the Louisville game…guess I should have stuck with it!
Shakira Austin had herself a game for Ole Miss with 27 & 13 to make her WNBA draft statement as well. Charli Collier was smart to go out a year early this class is stacked

I’ve seen Howard a couple of times this season and I just don’t think she’s the top player coming out. Mike Tebow has said repeatedly this offseason that the Mystics have to get better defensively. Howard is a lackadaisical defender and the Mystics have good guards - I’d be surprised if Nalyssa Smith isn’t the pick.

This is why Kim was never and would never be considered for a job at Texas. Down 12 with 90 seconds to go… B*atch, please.

Kentucky up 9 on Tennessee late in the 3rd Qtr. If Tennessee loses will they drop out of the top 16?

Watching this Kentucky-SC game and they showed a shot of Calipari in the stands. Anyone remember if Beard has shown his face at a WBB game this season?

I don't remember Beard on TV during a women's game. Then again, I don't remember Vic at a men's game either.

Funny how that works when both coaches are busy with their own teams during the same time of the year.
