I'm not fan of wind turbines, but to be frank, I don't see a good way to keep them from killing birds other than not building them.
We need a federal agency devoted to training birds not to fly into turbines! We can fund it with a 3cent per gallon tax on gasoline. After all, if you are selfish enough, and Earth-hating enough to burn gasoline, you should WANT to make amends to mother Earth by assisting with this crucial project. If we can save even one Eagle Life, it will be worth it!
