My weather. It might be a little colder than usual, but at least here, it's not wildly so.

    ok. that one is funny.

I would argue that off-grid renewable energy that doesn't require convoys is a very good thing for the military. Convoys of fuel and water are a major source of casualties/attacks in asymmetric war. But trying to make the military go EV/solar for the sake of politics and climate change is ridiculous. There are places/times it makes sense but that certainly isn't the same as "100% renewable by 2030". I think there is something to be concerned about with CC but it is the hyperbole and All-in thinking of the Dem's that takes a valid point/concern and completely makes it farcical.

The tweet in my post had to do with cloud cover, not temperatures.

that's a pretty honest look at the problem of modeling. The problem with the CC zealots, or at least the CC Political players is that they convinced themselves that hyperbole was the best way to motivate action. Consequently they started using the most extreme and often exaggerated version of every model/prediction that came out. But to say that their misuse of data and hyperbole proves that there is no CC to worry about is also a logic fallacy.

Where do you think the CDC got their playbook?

You can’t do a rational cost-benefit analysis without honest numbers. When done honestly, the cost is carbon is approximately $10 per ton. Hardly worth losing sleep over.

I see. It's cloudy as hell most of the time in the UK, so I don't notice much difference from last year. Germany and most of continental Europe should be getting sunny days by now though.

People who say stuff like that have absolutely no shame and no conscience.

Nothing to see here peasants. Those planes run on wind, solar and dream power, not jet fuel. Move along, move along. Your ration of gruel is getting cold.

Methane isn't natural? Have they been hanging out at Hunter Biden's place?

mchammer, do you follow Steve Milloy? I have heard several interviews of him. He had many good things to say.

They hate him because their best weapon lately has been to create these private, non-gov, ridiculous "ESG scorecards" and if corporations don't buy into them, then the woke leverage disappears. These cards only work if everyone blindly "believes" in them. If someone starts to point out how little they actually do to impact anything then the whole model crumbles and their power to make corporations go woke starts to dissolve.

mchammer, I wonder if the revenue loss is due to investors leaving the ESG funds, or if the stock market itself is falling.
