Today while working at the office some smooth new age from Patrick O'Hearn, circa 1989.

Patrick O'Hearn: Homeward Bound... good Interstate music.

    Mr. Deez Beer Prophet

One of the most historically underrated songs. It kicks some serious *** especially for it's day.

IIRC the song was banned for radio play due to its lyrics which prolly accounts for its lack of commercial success.
Always thought McGuinn’s lead was a little sloppy (yes, I know he’s light years better than me) but a great song regardless. McGuinn’s riff is used in the bridge of Rush’s cover of Mr. Soul.
    Another great piece of music.

I'll have to check out Mr. Soul. I actually know very little Rush.

    Allow me.

The McGuinn riff is ~ the 2:10 mark.
