I get what he was saying, but I also don't believe for a second that having makeshift meeting facilities is why we were #114 against the run.

Felony arrest warrant issued in Austin for football star Earl Thomas

No one seems to have discussed this yet.

These crazy text messages don't sound anything like the person I've interacted with. His 2007 redshirt was so that he could get accustomed to the independence of being a badass college football player, but I didn't think he'd ever roll this bad.

So there's probably two things afoot:
    1. Way too much free time and his Orange (city not color) roots shining through.
    2. CTE is a real thing and we need to keep supporting former athletes.

$20 mil is a hefty number to get your name on a practice facility.

It also means that we all contributed to that donation.

Well, I have had Tito's before but I prefer whiskey. Does this mean our donation is tax deductible? I mean, I might be able to have a pretty hefty makeup deduction to take on my next filing.

Just like NIL we are selling our souls in college sports. Tito’s is my vodka of choice but I don’t think we need to be naming facilities after it.

I was at DKR the 1st time VY got in the game. When I got home, told my wife: "We have a kid...if he sticks around long enough, he will have a Heisman & we will have a Natty." I'm not always that prophetic, but it's not often that I see a VY for the 1st time.

Who knows? I've read multiple accounts including the Beaumont Surprise, KFDM, KEYE, KXAN, Houston Chronicle, et al. The only commonality makes no sense. Seems there is a restraining order preventing him from having any type of communication with her, yet the court wanted them to communicate to set up visitation rights for the children.

None of this makes sense. This is the same guy that holds free football camps for kids in Southeast Texas; paid for 3-4 charter buses to take people to watch Orange play for the State Championship at JerryWorld plus their food; rented the "convention center" in Orange and provided free food and drink for people in Orange to watch him play in the Super Bowl.

    What am I missing?

Texas judges become abusers themselves sometimes when they issue a protective order.
99 percent of the time, it is totally unnecessary. At best, the person under that order becomes homeless for a period of time or worse.
Most of the protective orders issued in this state fall into the unnecessary category. Not completely sure of Earl’s case but it sounds like his was done likewise.

    Thanks for the reminder.

For the countdown purposes I will set it to 12 AM on September 3 so it just tracks the days until for now and then as game day approaches I will set it to actual game time, which is TBD as of now.

There was an incident where police were called and Earl's wife had pulled a gun on him.
Supposedly in self defense I guess.
Believe Earl was a bit intoxicated.
    So, restraining order was issued.
If communication is required to set up visits with children, perhaps Earl should let his lawyers take care of it.

After reading this I don't know who's being protected from whom.
