He did get to bang Laura Ingraham and Ann Coulter though, so he's got that going for him.

I put no weight on the fact that the FBI isn't arresting anyone. I do put weight on the fact that Republican state prosecutors at least so far aren't arresting people and the Trump campaign isn't bringing civil lawsuits.

I think there will be but do you realize the flack they'll take if/when they do? Even when it's obvious nothing seems to be done.

Let's take this for example. Three Maricopa tech guys either deleted or archived data in Arizona the day before the machines were handed over to the auditors to examine. I want you to please watch this and I want to remind you the machines were under subpoena. Why hasn't the AZ attorney general buried these guys for this alone already?

The overall point I was making, Deez on my statement on the last page is that illegal activity that favors the left rarely gets punished.

    Maricopa county, Arizona? Interesting take.

Governor: Doug Ducey - Wikipedia Republican
Attorney General: Mark Brnovich - Wikipedia Republican
Maricopa County Attorney: Allister Adel Republican. RIP. She just passed away. Too bad AC's not here to blame antifa for her death. I'd bet a Texas is Back bumper sticker that she's replaced by a [wait for it] Republican. There are currently three Republican candidates to replace her and one Democratic one.
Her interim replacement: Rachel Mitchell - Wikipedia Republican.

    All RINOs.

It's like when we have control of the presidency, House, and senate we still keep losing day to day.

I know I've said this a zillion times already but the only fight they have in them is against Trump and his supporters.

Poor okie...does not understand separation of powers.

State officials cannot always act on something that is more properly a federal question.

Maybe they can take action on hunter's laptop while they're at it, being the impartial enforcers they are.

Most Republicans go along with the Left. Even when they aren't elected into positions, they still control the institutions, agencies, etc.

    Very arrogant on your part.

Maricopa county voter irregularities would be under local or state jurisdiction. The DA in my county showed up on a woman's door the day after she committed voter fraud and voted in person and absentee. There was no federal involvement. If there were then Trump wouldn’t have had to bully Georgia officials to investigate.

Way to keep the surface level thinking.

Violations of federal law cannot be prosecuted by State officials, and a State AG cannot just assume jurisdiction in most Counties.

Jurisdiction matters. Separation of powers matter. The effing Constitution at both the State and federal levels matter. I would say the Nation matters, but your support of Mush For Brains seems to suggest you are more enamored with America Last.

And even if something is in the purview of the local authorities, it matters not one iota what the political persuasion of State-level officials might be. All you have to do there is witness how long we have put up with corrupt Lina Hidalgo in Harris County and the fact that do-nothing Kim Ogg has allowed it to go on. The only way we got an investigation WITH indictments was when the Rangers figured a way to get her.

Are you really going to stick with voting irregularities in maricopa county are a federal issue?

@Mr. Deez who’s right? If mb’s “it’s a federal issue” is correct then why was trump trying to pressure Georgia officials to investigate things? Why are they making such a press for state election officials? It’s so they can try the end run they tried on 1/6.

Ugh. I didn't want to get pulled into this. Lol. For starters, election law (which I'm no expert on) is a fustercluck of state and federal laws. Voter fraud violates federal and state laws, and since the 2020 presidential election involved federal and state elections, fraudulent voting could be prosecuted by the Justice Department or DAs. In practice, state and local prosecutors do most of the prosecutions of fraud. Whether a state's AG could prosecute state law violations over the head of the local DA depends on the laws of that state.

Trump pressured Georgia officials, because elections are administered and certified by state and local officials. Furthermore, the decision of which slate of electors Georgia was going to send to the electoral college (and therefore who would carry Georgia) was ultimately a decision made by state officials.

I've seen all kinds of things that look nefarious on the surface (like what you see in the video). Some have plausible explanations. Some don't or certainly seem like they don't. I'm not surprised that partisan Democrats aren't interested in doing anything about it. I also roll my eyes when I hear them say this was the most secure election in history. Nobody could possibly know that or even credibly claim that, especially in an election with that much mail-in voting.

I am surprised that at least some partisan Republicans at least don't seem to be pursuing much. Yes, I understand that Never Trumpers side with Democrats on this stuff, but they aren't all-powerful especially at the state and local levels where most of these calls are made. Their power is largely in Washington, DC and not much beyond that. If their clout went much beyond that, Trump wouldn't have been the nominee. The Durham probe wouldn't be happening. The point is that I don't buy that all of these prosecutors in Arizona, Georgia, etc. are either Democrats or Never Trumpers. Some of them? Maybe. All of them? No, especially in Arizona where the party is notoriously "Trumpy."

I am also surprised that civil lawsuits aren't being pursued. Democrats and RINOs can't stop lawsuits from being filed.

Thank you for weighing in...perhaps the resident okie will pay more heed to your words even though the underlying sentiment essentially mirrors what I would have typed.

It would seem that he STILL does not grasp separation of powers and that even with State law, there are separations which exist and vary by State...

The Maricopa Board deliberately kept the auditors from seeing inside the machines. The machines were under subpoena (not to be touched) and they decided it was a good idea to remove the election database before turning the machines over. Illegal as hell and it can't be whitewashed.

I think that there is a huge intimidation factor in pursuing this. People who pursue this will be attacked nonstop and don't want to go through it. Look at the AZ attorney general. So far he's been fair to both sides and he's being hammered by both sides. Who wants to go through that?

You also mention Durham. How long did it take from the time Durham started until the first indictment? We will find a brave soul that will get the job done for election integrity.

Arizona is not Trumpy for the most part. More McCain type republicans.

Civil lawsuits have zero chance. The post J6 atmosphere is too strong. Perhaps after an AG indicts a few people then it will open up.

I think part of the reason Republicans don't pursue it is because they want there to still be a sense of legitimacy regarding elections. If they uncover something really rotten, I think they fear it will turn voters cynical and be a step to up end the system.

I also think Republicans think they can get what they want by making claims about the 2020 elections to get their base energized. They also are probably looking into doing some shady things themselves.

The republicans are cheating too. The AZ auditors' kinematic report, which hasn't been released to the general public yet, shows thousands of fraudulent ballots (photocopied, ,machine filled in ovals, etc.) that voted for Trump. However, there are many more fraudulent ballots that favor Biden.

The cheating is across R and D lines and usually in line with whoever the CIA wants in position. George HW Bush ran the CIA for a year. He produced a limited hangout to hide their most egregious issues. They like him and his kids.

Refusing to comply with a subpoena and destroying evidence (especially evidence that is under subpoena) can get you fined and potentially thrown in the slammer. But of course, someone has to pursue those remedies.

I'm sure there is an intimidation factor. However, if Trump doesn't have the guts to pursue the matter when it (if true) impacted him more than anyone, I'm not sure how others that it impacted far less can be expected to get up in arms about it. If this stuff is real and proves what you think it does, Arizona officials and Arizona GOP officers are a disgrace if they don't pursue it.

About 11 months after he was appointed. That's not breakneck speed, but it's not slow. It's reasonably fast.

The state is not Trumpy. (That's why it's not solid red anymore.) However, the party is pretty Trumpy. Remember who runs it.

Sorry Bro, this simply isn't true. J6 certainly has political implications (though far less than the media thinks), but it has no bearing on anyone's ability to file a civil lawsuits. Hell, I could do it tomorrow if I wanted to.

Yes, but the election is about 18 months old, and nothing has prevented the matter from being pursued.

Who knows where it would go, but I do know where it'll go if no one files.
