I won't get drawn into distasteful name calling but Jimbo seems like a massive **** jerk

edit: changed a slightly-too-crude word, I was PUI (posting under the influence)

Ag's got themselves a real hayseed in 'ol Jimbo and that is a perfect fit. Escalating a public s - -t fight with name calling is pretty dumb when you are guiltily of doing that of which you are being accused, even IF it is within the NCAA guidelines, or lack thereof. The aggies cannot hide what they did, and the truth was going to come out, and now that Jimbo has made such a spectacle of this it will only come out sooner. This overdone reaction should be viewed as an attempt to cover up the truth with a 'hands off" demand and nobody is going to believe that a team with a history of cheating and losing can get the best recruiting class in the history of college football because they are proven champions at the finest university of the land. Typical aggie paranoia bulls _ _ t.

I remember when Mack beat Saban in the Cotton Bowl and when a member of the press was trying to attack Mack after the game Saban spoke up in defense of Mack's record and said he did not understand what they were doing. People can be jealous of Saban all they want but he is one the best, if not the best, college coaches of all time.

I think Jimbo has had one too many head injuries. With half a brain he simply says they recruited within the guidelines and that a & m does not cheat (a lie). Instead, he goes on the attack. Jimbo is no Saban. He can't carry his ......

Only Bud Wilkinson comes to mind, and we have him to thank for recommending his former QB when Texas was looking for a HC.

And the way this pig gets cut open is from players talking and bragging about getting more than others and the resentment spewing over into the press with allegations. Especially from those who portal because of what they deem to be inferior payments.

"Bill Gates announced today that in the pursuit of inclusion, equity and diversity for the University of Texas at Austin athletes in their new spot as a member of the SEC, he would make significant financial contributions to the school's NIL programs. Citing a belief that the longhorn football defense was, in his words, "microsoft", he said he hoped that he could make a difference."

    If you notice…
Jimbo always ALWAYS states that AM “has a guy” that handles the “NIL stuff”, giving him plausible deniability when the truth gets out.

Well, Bum Bright is dead, and so is Claytie. Eller is too busy with his stem call projects, Dockery was banned by NCAA, PoPo is gone, not many left, and I can't see RC putting up with Jimbo's ********.

Damn, they still have the Big 33 game?

Bobby Layne challenged them to drop the Ohio team and play a team from Texas. The first year, Bobby let them schedule it for the weekend of the Texas Coaches All Star Game at Amon Carter. The 100 best Texas players were in Fort Worth not Hershey - Linus Baer, Warren McVea, Mike Livingston (??), et al were not on Bobby's team. Next two years, Bobby got the best (Bradley, Gilbert, Levias, Wainscott, Bulaich, Montgomery, Mayes, et al) and destroyed the Pennsy team so badly that they canceled the series and went back to playing Ohio.

Thirty years later, I was walking into the McCue Center at UVA, when an elderly gentleman stopped me and asked if I was from Texas (starched Wranglers, buttondown oxford cloth, anteater boots & beaver felt hat must have tipped him off).

Turned out he was former great Penn HS coach and an assistant at State Penn. He said that Bobby's DLs & LBs were faster than his WRs. He said getting embarrassed left no decision but to leave Texas the hell alone.

Interesting if true that aggy told the player his NIL deal was void if he played in the game.
Didn't jimbo say aggy officially had nothing to do with NIL?
So is it the player's NIL
Or is it the player's NIL at a particular school?

    Crockett,

Pity Nick because every time he gets a little time off, he has to choose which of their seven lake houses to go to IF he chooses not to go to that fort they own in Palm Beach.

THE issue that makes Jimbo look childish is that Saban said TAMU paid for players.
Jimbo spoke about Nick personally about things unrelated to NIL and was being ambiguous, as usual.
He is quickly becoming a scallywag and charlatan.
Man, I’ve been waiting for months to use those words.
