I really hate to think we turned down Cooper due to Macko azzhole Vic He is the original Sange's turd waffle. Blessed we are to have Sark And the Mannings clear sighted view I know Sark and We here will respect what the Mannings have entrusted to the University of Texas
Arch, still a Sr. in HS, already showing early awareness, character, class, leadership and responsibility to reach out to encourage other recruits to pledge UT. THAT tells me a lot about him!
Worst Absolutely But I think based on their experience they want Arch to have what they may not have. A chance to be a kid an incredibly talented athlete but still a kid. We should be humbled they chose us And make every endeavour to treat Arch that to them is their much loved 17 y o kid as normal as possible
^^^^ Agree! Let's not overdo his pedigree, talent & accolades upon his arrival to UT. Let him absorb the huge change to D-1 ball. Blend in as a true Freshman. Learn the system and prepare for next steps.
Yes. I’m in hopes Yr 1 Redshirt,(Ewers Soph) Yr 2 Play during specific times Yr 3 as a sophomore starts. If Ewers declares.
Elite 11 Finals 2022: Dante Moore could challenge Arch Manning for top recruit ranking after impressive outing
I agree 100% here. I have a friend who is insistent Arch will start as a true freshman, I need to make better friend choices.
Haven't seen triple, but do normally see double the retail price. One of the reasons I used to go to Kirby's on Sundays was their 'half price' bottles. And whatever we didn't drink could be corked to go... The problem I have with wines by the glass isn't the price (which again, I haven't seen at the level of a retail bottle of the same stuff) but the fact that you don't know how long the bottle was open and, worse yet, some places try to keep them in a refrigerator. Reds should never come out at 40 degrees...
Got that original quote from James H "Red" Duke, Jr, MD (Hillsborough HS, A&M Yell Leader, Master of Theology from Southwestern Theological Seminary, Southwestern Medical School) upon his late arrival to see DAC at Texas Opry House. Conversation: "Gawd damn, I didn't think they would ever snuff that son of a ***** out; I opened and closed him so damn fast that he didn't have time to bleed two drops. I need a beer" Me: "Jim they got Coors & they got Lone Star." Jim: "Son, drinkin Coors is like makin love in a canoe; it's fuckin near water" Funniest person I ever knew, and world's greatest general surgeon.
For me it’s not about the skills, but the sizzle that Arch brings. I don’t care if he never plays a down. We players are OL, DL, etc.
Back when I drank. A lot. Coors was my preference and I always took ribbing from equally as drunk comrades who shared my stash.
Growing up in Tennessee Coors wasn't available past the Mississippi River yet. My dad planned an entire vacation when I was about 10 yrs old around going to Arkansas so he could load up on a few cases. We ended up going to Dog Patch USA which is now closed.
Lol, a jeep renegade. I sat in that small back seat with my feet on the cases of coors on the floor. Very uncomfortable even at 10.
Texas was in the midst of going 5-7 under Charlie, I have nicknames for all my players, Strong. Hmmm, maybe this kid is touched in the head?
