The best thing the right has had in the last 20 years has been the pro life movement. That is what got pearl clutchers to elect the ***** grabber for the seat on the court after McConnell displayed his lack of ethics.

Thank God McConnell was so unethical. It has already had a massively positive impact on our country.

Brandon? Is stupid. ***** grabber is descriptive of behavior that he bragged about doing, and, coincidentally, 22+ women had accused him of doing. It’s the equivalent of calling a Sooner a land thief or likely conference champ. :)

Yep. The idea of having someone as corrupt as Garland on the SCOTUS is terrifying.

Was Trump a p***hound in his younger years? He was a high profile billionaire. I am 100% sure he was.
You say 22 women Accused him.
What were the results of those cases?
How did it affect Trump performing his duties as POTUS?

Bubba, can you honestly say Trump's years ago actions are more of a threat to OUR security
Compared to Biden family actions with foreign actors?

Here we go again, then I'll refer to your president as the drooling incoherent poopy pants money launderer. Is that better? I still think Brandon is better, but you insist on descriptors.

I offer Hillary's bitter tirade on Justice Clarence Thomas as exhibit 1.
Particularly compared to Sottomayer's characterization of Thomas.

are you guys ever going to come around to the reasonable view that all these pols are trash, that the country is circling the drain government-wise, that we haven't had a really good president since Eisenhower and that OU is actually a pretty good school now, even if it has some blemishes in its past?

I'm pretty much there. Lots of posturing, lots of getting rich off the system, not lots of work that actually benefits the country.

    I still hold out hope.

Yes, I am there. I knew we were screwed when Clinton won because he went on David Letterman and played his saxophone. I know Ross Perot played a role, but that was the first time in my life that a Presidential candidate wasn't "Presidential" and won. After that we got the BJ felt around the world and the most scandal I've ever seen in the White House. Since then it's just all a bunch of disgusting muck.

This is why I am a firm believer that term limits would be helpful. Spend a few years trying to help America and let someone else come in and try. Make it a law they have to come back home periodically and listen to their constituency in person, not just on twitter. They wouldn't have time to develop rotten greedy roots in DC.

It's pretty hilarious reading someone trying to pretend like they care about their leader's moral character when he has a Barry Switzer picture for his profile.

The Switzer picture is ironic. Come on man!

That said, I'd take him or DKR or Mack or Saban over Biden/Trump.

No argument there, as long as Switzer had the same decision-making power that he had when he was coaching the Cowboys.

Bush was ethical. Some of the actions of his lackeys (Rumsfeld, Cheney, etc.) were suboptimal. He just bit into the trap that was set for him by jihadis.

re Switzer: I shared the disdain for the guy back when he was coaching the vandals from north of the Red River, but I read his memoir, Bootlegger's Boy, some years ago and fell in love with the jerk. It is, as Joe Paterno said, the most revealing sports bio ever written.

Every time I see a copy at a used book store I buy it and give it to a friend who attended UT. The guy is a jerk but he describes in detail why he is and why, for the same reasons, he was so good at sitting on the couches of black people and convincing them that he was the perfect coach for turning their kid into NFL material. And he was. Because his daddy was a bootlegger and little Barry got to go along with pop as he made his rounds selling the liquor he bought in Tennessee to the rural folk in Arkansas. The best anecdote in the book is the one about visiting his daddy in the state pen when Barry was a senior in high school. Classic, and O. Henry could not have tied it up better

One of my best friends played for him. He never cracked the two deep. He was there in the 85-90 time frame. He even dated Switzer's daughter for a bit. He was the guy who was nice, real, genuine, and almost as pure as a new snow. He really liked and respected Barry. Barry was imperfect and it caught up to him. He did what the rest of the known world was doing to compete for players. He just got a head start on some of the powers that be by aggressively recruiting the black athlete before they did.

The ***** grabber remarks. Again, said while probably just acting like frat guys would. No proof he did something like that. But, funny, just like how liberals think Trump administration members are the scum of the earth not to be believed until they turn on Trump, that a liberal here has said trump is nothing but a liar, but he believes this ***** grabbing BS 100% without question. And, keeps mentioning it.

And, Switzer is a piece of ****. I don't care how many cute little stories anyone may have about him.

Anyway, this guy is morally superior? GMAFB

Not to worry, he'll tell us Trump bought them off and post some rag story with innuendos and second hand stories as proof.

Eisenhower was okay in some respects but he totally dropped the ball on letting Socialists/Communists/Marxists bury themselves into academia and federal bureaucracies. He started the military industrial complex and then warned us after he left about what he started.

All that still makes him one of the better Presidents all things considered.

I admit that Trump is an impure person and immoral in several ways. However, anyone and I mean ANYONE who voted for Bill Clinton has NO absolutely right to criticize anyone who voted for Trump.

Clinton raped multiple women. This isn't grabbing a women or touching them inappropriately. RAPED. Then he sent his attack down on them to make sure they didn't report him. That dog was Hillary. Just read the Juanita Broderick story for but one occurrence of this.

So spare me with whining about Trump being a "p---y grabber". You don't really care that he said that or did that. Because you today I bet have no qualms about voting for a rapist and the woman who helped him cover them up.

Beg pardon, I never voted for Clinton. I was more conservative at the time. I voted for Bush I in '88, Perot, Perot, (I honestly don't now), Bush II...

Not really. The military industrial complex was really put into full swing with WWII and the creation of the War Production Board. That's sorta when our defense industry really turned into a giant and got fully and permanently into the sack with the government. All of that led to the decision to have a permanent wartime economy. It certainly existed under Ike, but it was in place before he was president and would have existed even had he never become president.

If you actually read what he said he meant that MIC was what was going to keep anyone from coming after us. He was not criticizing its' existence
