Would be funny to read that this actually doesn't change anything ...

... because Minneapolis schools already have zero white teachers.

This cartoon has racist implications which I don’t think the author intended.

If color could teach, you could just paint the walls of the school black and let the children learn without teachers.

No doubt. MN will keep pumping money into public schools to keep this from happening. They can't upset 99% of the population. As long as it is just talk the progressive whites will like it. But if the ax ever falls there will be problems.

Non issue. There are 3 dozen or so ISD's within 30 minutes of Minneapolis. Just leave (you're not valued as a white person). There are better places to teach.
No position there is worth it in that environment

My wife faced a somewhat similar situation at Dallas ISD. Her skin color worked against her for many situations. She left. We're better off now. DISD isn't

Yep. Just remember that this is about virtue signalling and looking pious in the wokeness religion. There is no real concern for minority teachers.

And this will be how this all unfolds for these districts as well. they will cause "white flight" of teachers and then the schools will be run by less qualified people who were chosen/retained primarily based on skin color. And then when scores don't improve (and more likely fall) they will work to spin another "whitey did this" narrative of how white racist teachers abandoned them and failed them.

That black woman, who I like quite a bit, needs to remember Mark Twain:

“Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.”

I know someone EXACTLY like the screamin white bit**.
    Highly educated professional
I took Twain's/guy's advice long ago and never say a word when people like her start with that crap.
Maybe I should since I am sure those woke people think everyone they know feels that way

She'll just end up screaming at you and calling you a racist. Unless you're ready to tell her to f**k off, I wouldn't.

What you do is accept that you're likely to lose your friend. You should respectfully and kindly challenge her, because if no one does, it perpetuates her BS beyond just herself. However, if she freaks out, be prepared to push back. Don't concede anything just for the sake of doing so. Eventually, she'll call you names, and when that happens, be prepared to tell her to f**k off - not necessarily literally but practically. Unless she's a lot more mature than most woke people, you're going to lose her as a friend, but if you have to lie to her and mollycoddle her to keep her acting civil, then she isn't much of a friend anyway.

As a graduate of DISD, I am not surprised but remain disappointed. I teach. If she is a good teacher and helps her students succeed, that is all that should matter.

She retired last year after being attacked on campus (Comstock, disd). We moved to east Texas, she met some teachers and administrators over the summer here. They talked her in to teaching at their isd, against my recommendation. She liked what she saw and heard so she jumped in

To my surprise/ shock, she's in love with teaching again. People she works with are great, the whole ISD works as a team. Kids are very respectful, a big difference in culture. DISD vs a much much smaller ISD in angelina county. Night and day.

Think she didn't want to end her career on a horrible note to be honest, but she hasn't been this happy teaching since I met her. We were comfortable in retirement, but in a strange way she's teaching today because she didn't want a ****** ISD to end her career in shabby way.

How do they explain the rest of the world? Is there an Asian outrage industrial complex in Korea, Japan, China, and other Asian nations? Is there a black outrage industrial complex in Congo, Nigeria, and other African nations? Same with Latin in Central, South America, etc ?

There isn't because Marxism hasn't been incubated in the universities of those countries. That has been in the USofA. Incubated, protected, funded, and then distributed.
