Stock market will not do well in October based on historical precedence. Another 10-20% drop is possible.

I listened to an Abbott town hall.
One interesting thing, He would take half of our surplus and use it to reduce property taxes.
He is going after Feds for money we have spent on illegals. His busing illegals to Sanctuary cities and the blowback from those cities bolsters his/our case.

I'd like $2 on these to win, please

    Budd, NC
    Vance, OH
    Laxalt, NV
    Johnson, WI
    Walker, GA

If my math is right it gives Rs 51

Eta.. I'll go ahead and drop another deuce on Oz in PA. That gives Rs52

I think that's more like it. Beta might do a little better than 39, but Abbott will do better than 50. Obviously, third parties will get their usual 2 - 5 percent.

Emerson now has WI GOP senate +4.

Everything moving to GOP as economy inserts itself into the voter’s consciousness.

Dems apparently blew their wad on Jan 6 hearing and Mar-a-lago raid.

NC-OH-WI now safe. PA is moving that way. GA and NV likely locks for GOP pickup. NH and AZ wild cards.

GA should continue to trend with the GOP unless Herschel thoroughly screws the debate up...it is clear Demx are worried as evidenced by taking his snippet of sarcasm in a video out of context and portraying it as truth...

GOP is +4 according to Trafalgar in NV Senate race. This one is over.

Also, there are many House races (say 10) that lean Dem according to polling that may flip due to Hispanic vote for GOP not showing up in polling (too many angry white women).

Long story short: dems will never control congress if they continue to lose Hispanic voters. I think they will come to that realization in 7 weeks. Dem new motto: Ditch the abortion Barbie’s and hook up with the ditch diggers.

Note the dems and media will be completely silent on this obvious debacle up to Election Day.

Market crashing. I wonder how many folks will blame the dems in DC for this?

Certainly the Biden policies haven't done anything positive to stabilize the economy. The Biden policies have thrown gas on the inflation fire and made it worse - hence the reaction from the Fed to raise interest rates to try to cool inflation - and the resulting impact on the market.
It will take years for the market to recover - and at my age, I probably don't have a lot of years remaining to see that recovery.

This bit from the article bothered me for multiple reasons:
"Through Sept. 19, state officials have accepted a total of 4,599 votes, including 2,506 from Democrats, 1,412 from unaffiliated voters, 665 from Republicans, 13 Libertarian voters, and three Green Party voters, according to a Vote Tracker website maintained by the Civitas Institute."

This is a problem that is directly attributable to requiring people to register to a particular party. Beyond that, however, there should NEVER be a release as to party breakdowns of incoming ballots. It eviscerates the notion of ballot privacy.

Why would anyone register to a party if you can be unaffiliated?

Because you can’t vote in the primaries. You have to register to vote in the primary. Not all states have open primaries.

And to think the left accuses the GOP of seeking to disenfranchise voters...

Every two years, I am thankful that Texas allows us to vote in whichever primary we want to vote in...

Trafalgar has GOP Senate in WI going from -2 to +2 since August (4 point move).

NH may be dems only hope for a win.

Ron Johnson always polls behind in the garbage media polls. Then he wins anyway. He's running against some out and out Commie, so I'm not worried about this one.

Warnock rock can't win unless his opponent was appointed because her husband bought her that position via large donations to the Ga GOP. Gov Kemp had a wide selection of elected officials who'd had experience in winning races in GA. And he picked the wife of the dude who gave the GOP lots of money. Great choice - for the Democrats.

Remember, she lots to Warnock twice - once on election night or morning or whenever it was that they counted up the votes from Atlanta that went 101% to him (after they conveniently chased all the monitors out of the counting facility via the lie of a busted water main, which turned out, I kid you not, to have been a broken urinal. Cleanest election in the history of the world and your a crazy conspiracy theorist if you say otherwise).

But since the commie didn't get to 50% due to 3rd party candidates, GA had a stupid runoff in January, which he also won. Her two losses, along with AZ's McSally's two losses in 18 and 20 is 3 flushed Senate seats, all courtesy of GOP Inc. who appointed those two scrubs. I don't want to hear a peep about "crap candidates" from the establishment this cycle, not with those losses still stinking the place up.

Vance is a done deal in OH, as is the NC race, not that either was really in doubt. NV is looking good and will probably be a pickup, so as above, that's 51 GOP even if NH AZ PA go against the Republicans. I think Oz wins in PA - the Zombie Eggplant he's running against is possibly the worst candidate this cycle save for the SC Democrat who got caught on tape saying she hates white people.

Zombie is a trust fund leach who sponged off his rich parents until his late 30's, was a tax deadbeat for years on one of his houses (that his folks bought him), and chased down some random jogger and pointed a shotgun at him, thinking some fireworks were gunshots. If a Republican had done any of those things he'd be finished about 8 times over. Plus he's brain dead and can't speak in complete sentences in public.

In AZ, I think the worthless Kelly can get the sympathy vote via his brain dead wife to, get enough honkey women to shed a tear for him and give him their vote. It's what his wife out want, if she knew what year it was. But I hope I'm wrong. In the governors race, Lake is pulling away from the horrid Hobbs and maybe she can pull Masters along with her.

NH should have an incumbent Ayylote (sp) defending her seat - she only "lost" by 500 votes, and there were at least that many votes her opponent got via college students voting in NH though they were not residents.

Though I'd vote for all four of them in the general election, Oz, Walker, Masters, and Boulduc are crap candidates, though I'll admit that Walker has gotten better and is the closest to shedding the crap label. To the extent that any of them win, it will be because the opposition sucked worse and that the current political environment is very favorable to the GOP.

Loefler was also a crap candidate, whose success was attributable only to her banging and marrying some rich old guy she worked for. McSally was a mediocre candidate - not good but not as bad as the others. However, both were running in much tougher political climates than any Republican in 2022 is, and McSally was up against opponents who were certainly stronger than Warnock and especially Fetterman. Mediocrity wasn't going to cut it. If she was running now instead of in '18 and '20, she'd almost surely win - not because she's very good but because in the current political environment, anything better than crap should win.

The problem with McSally wasn't even her fault as such. She ran as good of a race as she could muster in 18, and lost a very winnable race, in a year that was not bad for the GOP on a statewide basis (overall result +2 GOP - a result that if it happened this year the media would crow about for years).

The issue was that the AZ GOP looked at her Senate loss and said "Oh well, I'm sure if the votes get to know you for two years via appointing you to the open seat, they'll surely want to vote for you then". Appointing her to that seat ensured that she'd be the nominee - almost impossible to defeat a sitting senator in the primary.

And then what happened in 20 - she lost again. 100% of that loss is on GOP Inc, along with the appointing the wife of a rich dude to what everyone should have realized was a competitive seat. The establishment wing has no room to talk about bad candidates, not after those two appointed stinkers.

And besides media gas huffing puffing them up, the Democrats have run some clowns in 22. C Christ is the worst candidate the morbid FL Democrat party could have pushed up there. He's a proven loser who stands for nothing. Abrams in GA is another re-treaded loser, along with Beta Male. The Democrat party is failing into the same trap as GOP Inc, on pushing their favorite candidates, regardless of how many times the voters have rejected them.

Fetterman is was all media hype even before he became brain dead, as you'd expect for a trust fund leech. The dude they ran in WI is an out and out commie, not to mention the SC Democrat Senate candidate who said she hates white people and has to treat them like ****. If she was a Republican and said that about blacks, every elected Republican in the country would be forced by the media to denounce her before they asked any more questions. But with the Dems it's, "oh well, she's entitled to her white hating views".

In any honest assessment, there's no Democrat advantage in candidate quality. They have more incumbents running in competitive races, which gives them the benefit of incumbency as well as constant media suck assitry.

I hope this gets reported in Wy
Republican Rep. Liz Cheney said Saturday that she would be willing to campaign for Democrats as she criticized her party's acceptance of candidates who deny the results of the 2020 election.

“Yes,” Cheney said simply when asked if she’d be willing to stump for Democrats — the first time she’s said so explicitly.

Not surprising at all. She's a RINO of the worst kind. I was in Wyoming just before the election up there and practically every yard sign was anti LC. Not a sign for another candidate, it was a white sign, her name in a red circle with a line across it. They knew what she was all about and I knew she would lose the election just based off that.

The Dem party as a whole has been denying elections since 2000 when GWB won. What a hypocritical liar.

Little Dick lost her primary race by 40 points - I don't think this sellout to the Democrat party is going to have much sway with anyone.

Liz still believes they like her for HER. She is a useful idiot for the Dems, who will have no use for the warmonger after November. She is fund-raising clickbait right now, just as is the other notable tool, Kinzinger.
