Football exposes character more than it builds it. Look at police blotters, full of former athletes. I am not condemning football or sports, I played every sport you can name (football, baseball, golf, ice hockey) thru high school and was a competitive triathlete into my late 30s.
The older I get I realize sports builds character, but no more than kids that compete in debate or chess. Time bears this out. Look at how they handled life's adversity.
Back to sark. I don't care about his addictions. He's the head coach here, and has **** the bed over and over again. He's done more for kansas football since gale sayers, so he has that going for him.
I'm glad you've overcome. Seriously, I am. But if you had Sarkisian's record here I'd call you out just as you would me. The fact he's giving silver linings (golly we're gonna overcome this ineptitude some day) doesn't cut it. 'Go take that to The AA Field' as Jimmy Johnson would say
