I’m sure that POS was taking out all his frustrations for being picked last in every PE game he ever somewhat participated in.

He needs a few more red rubber dodgeballs to the face and nether regions!!

The reason I don’t go to Lubbock Tech games anymore is the same reason I don’t go to NFL games…..extremely low IQ fan base. I expect this type of behavior.

Jones is only place I ever almost got into a fight while watching 18-22 year old's play a sporting event for my entertainment. 1998 walking in group through concourse and getting cussed out in a way that would make a sailor blush for the sin of wearing the wrong color shirt and then invited to do something about it when we looked over at the group of drunks who were doing it as the cops nearby just looked on. Never felt unsafe in that way before at a sporting event Swore then I would never go back and I never have.

I don't get the ugly hostility from tceh fans.
    They won the game.

Add now the cold, creeping reality that, with Texas and OU leaving, they are about to be in a conference in which they will be expected to be a bell-cow program, coupled with the nausea-inducing certainty that they are not likely to succeed.

Yes, but this hostility is almost ubiquitous. This weekend I watched the game in LasVegas at the Bellagio Sports Book. After the game as we were leaving an Ohio State fan give us the “horns down” silliness. I shared a few choice words with the cretin and moved on along.

Protect and Serve!!! unless their masters tell them to stand around with their thumb in their *** while crimes are committed, then it's "Keep thinking of the pension and dental plan".

Seems like a very unfair comment as I do not see a policeman nearby. Perhaps you think one should be and maybe you are right as it seems more and more people think it is acceptable to ack like an *** at sporting events. Anyway, if you attack the character of the idiot who pushed the UT player, I would support you, but attacking the character of the police because of this incident is wrong.

Crap like this is just part of the reason I don't attend many live sporting events these days. My daughter and son-in-law were at the game. He's a Tech grad, she was wearing a Longhorn cap. Some grown man walks up, puts both middle fingers in her face, and tells her that he hopes she burns in hell. Son-in-law took care of the problem and got rid of the guy.

A couple of years ago they attended the game in Austin, he was wearing a red Tech polo. They were walking on MLK after the game and a couple of frat boys in UT greek gear followed them saying stupid ****, even called my daughter a *****. My wife and I were at a baseball game this past April, they were playing Baylor. Got up to our seats and a couple of dudes were sitting there. 'I don't give a f***' was one of the guy's response to me saying they were in our seats. Of course they were both decked out in burnt orange. One of the security guys in yellow shirts was close enough to hear it all and made them move.

Idiots are idiots regardless of where they went to school.

I’m very anti-Horns down. Not because I see it on Tv but because it’s done in your face. It’s done because of no fear of consequences. That’s a crappy way to treat people and live your life. In all matters of life.

You can have a great time at a sporting event with the opponents fans. You can share in their frustrations and great moments. You can congratulate them or wish them better luck next time. It’s ok. Not being a jackass has never diminished the feeling of victory. And I care enough about losing that I’m in pain when that occurs. There really isn’t a need to kick me while already down. And I say that as one who will jaw back when someone else acts a fool.

People are just ******. They don’t have to be.

“If” that crappy leftover excuse of a conference even financially survives after we leave. It has no real chance of long term survival IMO.
Serves em right, especially turds like tech and bailer.

Was at grandsons soccer game in Tenn so missed the game on tv and had to watch the dvr of it that night - fyi wasn’t any better results. While walking to the field (sorry I meant the pitch) a guy in Vols shirt yelled “big game today” noticing my longhorn gear I replied yep, and for you guys too. He said his brother was a Tex grad and was at the game. He told me his brother said that Techs Student section was chanting F… Texas in unison pre game, anyone verify that?

Tceh and Rapelor have had their occasional moments in the sun, but those moments have all happened within the framework of various conferences in which they have always ridden the coattails of superior athletics programs, most recently and notably Texas and OU.

It will be good to be rid of dingleberries like those two.

Tceh fans are losers, have a loser mentality and don't know how to be winners. So, on the rare occasion they do win, they are clueless as to how to react. They also revel in classless behavior, as we saw on Saturday. Glad we won't be in the same conference with them in a couple of years, and I hope we don't play them in any sport going forward.

Texas leads, 54–18 In this “rivalry “.
    Mic
    Drop

If I were CDC, I’d only play Tech at DKR, for no other reason than the safety aspect.
If they don’t want to, good to go as we win either way.
I saw a UT game at Aggieland. No issues. Not one. And Texas won by the way.

At the end of the game the first thing I said as I watched with family and the stands began to empty was, "Sark, you better get the team off of the field". It is not a safe environment. Fan support is one thing, hate is quite another. I would not every play them again in Lubbock. and if that is not good enough for them, don't play them at all.

I actually liked 95 giving the horns down fan the finger. Made me feel like he really cared. Just wish he’d beat the s..t out of the guy on the line in front of him all game long.
