How can the kid from Commerce already be getting offers?

I predicted this last year after the Ags best recruiting class in the history of the world.
Man, I’d like to see the TexasAgs meltdown.
I think there are4 confirmed, all good players.
I’d set the over under at 9.5 Aggie Portals

It’ll be a fascinating scramble, starting the 5th. If you’re (for example) Anthony Hill, how long do you wait to commit, although he may be an exception due to his stature and skill set? Point being that the portal changes the calculation for recruits. If they wait — even though they cannot sign a LOI until 12/21 — it is quite possible that a transfer could replace them on a roster if that coveted portal player commits earlier.

cnb, correct me if this assessment is not accurate.

I continue to believe that Texas is in a highly advantageous position…as schools like Georgia, Bama and Ohio State (for example) — will have less space available. In other words, they have been building their rosters for years. Texas, not as much.

So you're saying they could be better than the starters?

·Tulsa QB Davis Brin also popped into the portal today. He's thrown 37 career touchdown passes at Tulsa. He appears in the portal soon after the firing of coach Philip Montgomery.

IT expects six to eight transfers before the bowl game, majority of those being a mutual parting of ways due to lack of playing time.

One player will be a surprise, but not someone who is irreplaceable.
