They'd have a better resume than Alabama or Tennessee easily (although Penn State has a better resume than either of those two as well, but TCU's would still be just as good or better than theirs also). Doesn't mean the committee won't blindly favor the bigger Name team though. Man, even after replay, they spotted the ball half a yard too far from the goal line. That could have huge repercussions.
Ok that was really bad play calling by TCU. QB sneak with 2 guys behind him to push and they did not even try it.
Slow play gave D time to shed blocks. Frogs should have run wide, get the angle and speed to get 1 yard.
Why run five yards to get 1/2 yard. Whatever happened to power football runs off tackle with the qb under center at the goal line.
The alignment ksu defense used on that fourth down never would have stopped a qb sneak. Unlike others here I am happy the frogs lost. We don’t go head to head with ksu on recruits very often, which we do with the frogs and every little bit helps. Tcu doesn’t make the playoffs, not enough eyeballs when compared to Buckeyes.
Duggan’s running ability really highlights what Ewers lacks in that regard. Same thing last nighg with Frank Harris at UTSA and what happened to the spoiled children when Williams played on one leg. The threat of a qb making plays with his legs is sooooo important in college football.
If TCU's exact season was achieved by OU or Texas, or if Alabama's exact season was achieved by Kentucky or Vanderbilt, nobody would be even considering this a debate.
Love the chaos. I have to think that TCU is still. In playoff though because only other options at this point are two loss teams that didn’t even make conference championship or two loss Clemson.
TCU has been lucky all season and they couldn’t close it. They don’t deserve to play for a NC if they can’t be fing KState in the spotlight.
