I knew my wife in high school. I graduated in 1976 and she graduated in 1978. She was the head cheerleader her senior year. And we both look damn fine for our age. Not bragging kiddos, it's a fact. I'm hot. Yes, I am. Ha... very cocky but it's true. She looks great too. But whatever aging has occurred means nothing to me when I look at her because "I see her" (Avatar reference). I see that young girl (sounds perverty) and she will always be that girl to me. A new woman younger than her can't compete with that. Marrying someone from high school has huge bene's that I underestimated for many years. We can go home together. We love our hometown. We get each other. We have the same experiences. The same culture. And we see the youth in one another.

I think it's time we institute a long-held texags provision here, 'This post worthless w/o pics'. How are we to know that you're not just another mouth-breathing booger eater and your bride doesn't look like Dion with long hair?

Looking at the future and where these kids will be playing, the # of league teams in the Top 25:

SEC - 12 (almost half of the Top 25)
    Big 10 - 4
    Pac 12 - 3
    ACC - 3
    Big 12 - 2
    Ind - 1

    In Top 10
SEC - 6 (more than half)
    Big 10 - 1
    Pac 12 - 1
    ACC - 1
    Big 12 - 1
    Ind - 1

    The rich keep getting richer.

Cook had a good year and I appreciate his heart and commitment. When he took over that position, he made a noticeable, positive difference. That said, there is no comparing Cook and Catalon. If Catalon can stay healthy, the level of play back there should improve considerably, even more noticeably than when Cook took over. This could be fun!

Everybody watches ESPN who shamelessly promoted/promotes the greatness of the $EC. Draws eyebrows and tv sets. What goes around comes around.

You guys are just going to have to trust me on this one. I don't make stuff up. My wife would shave my head if I posted a pic of her anyway. She is supremely private. No publicity. No showing off. Not sure why she married me because I'm much further up the dial towards selfies than that.

    Must be my looks.

This meme doesn't have a thing to do with recruiting, football, or this thread and how it's devolved. I'm just tired of holding on to it, so I'll just drop it here.

Top notch recruiting class after top notch recruiting class is how Mack Brown built up his era's program. At a minimum, it looks like Sark is doing that much.

    :bevo::bevo::bevo::bevo:<------average recruit rating

I propose this is our hornfans recruiting class rating. As we gain recruits the rating can go from 1 horn up to 5 horns. so as of now we have a 4 horn class.

    I know, I know horns don't matter....:smile1:

There is a really fast RB/WR in the Permian Basin that I nominate as our first :bevo::bevo::bevo::bevo::bevo: recruit

No WR coach on staff and we still got him. Impressive.

There is much truth to this. Even tho my wife of 30 years and I did not go to the same HS, we both grew up on the Gulf Coast in the Houston area, so we also speak the same language. We share what I call "Gulf Coast Sensibilities" which I did not even know existed until I left home at 18 and moved to Waco to attend TSTI. My roommate was from Houston as well and we used to remark about how different people in Waco were. Turns out they were not weirdos, just not from the Gulf Coast.
