You'd be surprised. Being here just makes you want to drink hot tea. Strange but true. I drink a cup with breakfast and before bed. Very rarely drank tea in Germany and virtually never drank it in Texas (except for iced tea). I think it's the cold, wet weather. Just feels good to drink it.

Algae biofuel is a great idea. But it isn't profitable with oil prices where they are now. Won't be for the foreseeable future. Listened to a presentation 5-6 years ago about some work a researcher was doing to increase algal growth rates. That was the big issue. It doesn't grow fast enough. There were things like transparent balloons over ponds that helped but there had to be several more break throughs after that to make it viable.
Wasn't Exxon the one that was going around buying up corn fields because they thought that was the future?
