Sept. 2:vs. Rice Sept. 9:at Alabama Sept. 16:vs. Wyoming Sept. 23:at Baylor Sept. 30:Kansas Oct. 7:Oklahoma (Dallas) Oct. 21:at Houston Oct. 28:BYU Nov. 4:Kansas State Nov. 11:at TCU Nov. 18:at Iowa State Nov. 24:Texas Tech No OSU or WV, adds Houston and BYU 4 BIG12 home games. 5 if you count Ou game which is officially a home game. Doesn't mention what a 2024 schedule would look like if TX and 0u stick around. I assume we would play 5 of the nine teams again, plus OSU, WV Cincinnati and Central Florida.
I'm okay with no WVU, but no OSU will be odd. Don't really want to play BYU as I still have PTSD from Taysom Hill. If we are in the SEC starting in '24, we'll never have played a conference member - UC. (And all two times we played UCF will be as non-conference members.) Edit: Actually, I see we are 6-6 vs WVU so I'd like one more against them to make it 7-6. Can't stand losing or tied all-time records.
Cinnci gets to play 3 of newbies. UCF gets 2 of them, and BYU gets 1 plus sent to WVU. No time zone concerns for us.
I hope this is our last in the Big XII and walk out of Lubbock with an 80 point thrashing heading to the Championship.
Based on last 10 years of performance, we should expect the following losses: Bama, BYU, KSU, ISU, TCU.
So wait, if we want to be truly SEC, SEC, SEC ready, shouldn't we have an NAIA school scheduled sometime in November?
Holgerson is such a loser. He's the one that left WV for cooger high. Now, he already has every excuse in the book for his record in the B12. Why doesn't cooger high just fire him now? Holgorsen: “What we’re dealing with right now is going to be dead last in the Big 12” (msn.com)
Holgerson is just negotiating for better facilities and more money for his staff. Who would take that job? Either of the Briles? Their first question would be how much power Tillman has and will have. Who knows what their puppet president thinks or does?
The 1999 NC State game is probably still the biggest "what the actual f**k?" game we've ever played. Not in terms of its importance or whatever, but the manner in which the game was lost. Up 10-0 in the first 7 minutes of the game because of 2 forced turnovers that we quickly turned into points Missed 4th-and-1 Pinned to our own end zone but NC State makes stupid personal foul Blocked punt #1 - safety Victor Ike swing pass TD for 8-point lead Two different WRs fumble on drives - both recovered by NC State Recover a fumble at NC State 28. Proceed to go -24 yards in sacks. Blocked punt #2 - returned for TD After a pick, they forced a 3-and-out. Blocked punt #3 - returned for TD Drive down the field, get stopped on 2nd-and-1, 3rd-and-1, and 4th-and-1. Desperation pass to set up laterals gets picked off.
Switcheroo! Texas reportedly alters Michigan home-and-home series to facilitate Big 12 exit - Burnt Orange Nation
We never have to worry about a Big 12 schedule ever again - unless we want to grab TTU for that cupcake weekend the SEC requires each November.
I thought we had already agreed to continue to play Tech every year, or at least until the SEC grabs Tech & oSu which is likely to happen within five years. Another ***** slap for Bowelsby (not that the stupid son of a ***** understands it) going out to recruit a bunch of nobody cares, nobody watches schools for the Big XII, while the PAC comes in and grabs SMU from the neighborhood he wishes he lived in.
