From Super Bowl ads to Kentucky revivals, stop the Christian cannibalism (msn.com)

"Christians should look for ways to build up when the temptation is to tear down. We’re called to be co-creators with God, to water seeds that others have planted. If a fellow Christian’s message to the world is incomplete, don’t erase it. Complete it."

When I worked with our church's youth group. I had to keep reminding myself that I was planting seeds. I may never see the fruits of that endeavor. I just had to have faith that a seed planted may, MAY grow in time......

Somewhat of a big of story over here. Some guys accidentally damaged a Quran, and they got suspended. The reactions are pretty revealing, and this smug, woke douche shows everything that's wrong with how we handle issues like this. And predictably he speaks with incredible sanctimony and arrogance in his tone while spouting absolute idiocy and brainlessness.

To go along with what Deez says about Scotland....

Uphill battle for Christian pursuing top job in Scotland | WORLD (wng.org)

REICHARD: Well, would you paint a picture for us of the spiritual climate of Scotland right now. How common are Biblical convictions like those held by Kate Forbes?

ROBERTSON: Scotland used to be known as the land of the People of the Book. And in my view, we've secularized quicker than any nation in human history. I would say that the spiritual atmosphere is particularly dark, with the new kind of progressive religion having taken over as a state religion, and that biblical Christians are increasingly isolated, and indeed under attack as Kate Forbes has been.

How can he hold that belief at the same time with all his other Progressive beliefs? Not much self reflection I guess.

I don't think he sincerely has many progressive beliefs. I think he's a closet moderate-conservative (somewhat like Giuliani used to be) who said what he has to say to get elected.

Still hard to imagine anyone in NY saying "When we took prayers out of schools, guns came into schools." unless it was me on a business trip to Manhattan.

Years ago, I did some research for our Sunday School class on violence in schools (I'm not doing the research again, do it on your own time, I have water leak I'm dealing with). There were 2 increases in school violence. The first was in the years right after prayer was taken out of schools and the second was when the children of those first-generation non-school prayer kids reached school age.

I’m frequently heard to say “it all started when we took prayer out of school” and the Deezians are quick to respond that it began long before that, and of course the obstinate me says; nah.

Perhaps. I just don't recall ever taking a big stand on the impact of taking prayer out of school.

Haha, could easily be wrong but I seem to recall that long ago I made the comment “it all started with taking prayer out of school” and someone (I thought it was Deez because you frequently correct me) went into a thorough explanation of why that was wrong because there was much more to it.

Look at the comments section. Liberals are intolerant toward things that aren't deviant.

Realistically how many people would there have been who are not vaccinated against measles?
The infected person would have had to sneeze on 20,000 people for it to be an issue.
Another political stuff by Biden and Demx

Mayor Adams is wrong even when he is right. The State isn't the body. But you can't really separate the two apart without eradicating the church.

School board votes to stop hiring from Christian college, says beliefs make people unsafe | The National Desk

Valenzuela, who donned a pair of cat ears and refused to stand for the pledge of allegiance during the Feb. 23 board meeting, said she was very "disheartened" to see the district's contract with ACU renewed.

"While I full heartedly believe in religious freedom and people being able to practice whatever faith that they have, I had some very concerned -- concerns regarding looking at this particular institution, and I think it's a really good time for us to take a moment and really pause about where our values really lie," Valenzuela said during the meeting.

"The school board's recent decision to ban ACU students from serving as student teachers was done for one reason only: our University's commitment to our Christian convictions," an ACU spokesperson told The National Desk (TND) in a statement. "That's wrong, it’s unlawful, and it will only hurt the district’s students."

"To that end, the board unanimously voted to discontinue its partnership with Arizona Christian University (ACU) whose policies do not align with our commitment to create a safe place for our LGBTQ+ students, staff, and community," Gomez-Whaley told TND. "This is not a rejection of any particular faith as we remain open to partnering with faith-based organizations that share our commitment to equity and inclusion." [Emphasis Added]

That is: You must bend the knee to us.......

We are about to be humbled | Not the Bee

"Let me be clear in saying that I don't think salvation for our civilization comes through legislation. Politics is a pursuit of earthly power, and this is a spiritual battle that exceeds the boundaries of public policy. Our civilization will eventually go the way of every civilization of man. Salvation comes to the individual through the transformative power of the cross and the church's discipleship."

Lawsuit incoming as board member admits to saying no due to religion.

When I go to Arizona Christian University's website -- and I'm taking this directly from their website -- 'Above all else be committed to Jesus Christ, accomplishing His will and advancing His kingdom on earth as in Heaven.' ... I want to know how bringing people from an institution that is engrained in their values that will very directly, one, impact three of your board members who are a part of the LGBT community ... As solidarity let our LGBTQ community know that we stand in making sure they feel protected," Valenzuela said before the board voted to dissolve the district's contract.
