Quote from the father of RB Jerrick Gibson via 247...

“Coach Choice man,” Jenkins added. “I think, if I’m not mistaken, he was Jerrick’s second offer. When it comes to somebody showing you we want you, I give Texas and Coach Choice and Coach Sark A-plusses. They build a relationship and they stay consistent. They stay on it. On top of that Texas is Running Back U.”

Quote from RB Christian Clark of Phoenix, AZ via IT.
They aren't arguing that he could be the #2 priority in this class behind Gibson.

“He sees a lot of Bijan in me,” Clark told On3 about Choice, who is also trying to get him in touch with Robinson. “He said that when he watched my film. He was like, ‘this is literally a mini Bijan, another one.’ That means a lot, that he recognizes my talent for Bijan’s because I think he should be a top-five pick this year.”

Christian Clark, Mountain Pointe, Running Back

Per IT, OL priority Daniel Cruz of Richland has locked in his Texas official visit for June 24th.

Keep that weekend in mind as the big official visit weekend over the summer.

George Bailey No beans in my chili, thank you

My 5' 8" 170 lb high school linebacker son ate me out of house and home during his teenage years. We'd buy those bags of chips at Sam's Club that could feed a church potluck and he'd have them ate in a day.

I can't imagine what kind of grocery bill a 6' 6" 305 lb kid would ring up these days.

I can empathise...I have 2 sons. Both were swimmers. They would come home & consume a jar of peanut butter, a box of crackers & a bottle of O.J. each for their after practice snack to prevent an episode of hypoglycemia. They would then eat 1/2 Beeve (as Col. Travis would say) with a side of 1/2 acre of veggies for diner (or supper if that's your vernacular). They would then have a bedtime snack with more calories than I would eat in a day. Breakfast consisted of as many eggs as would fit in the pan + a lb. of bacon. Lunch...God only knows what they ate for lunch, but it was a LOT.

My budget was sure happy to see them grow up.

I can still hear my wife saying “but you just ate!” To both of my sons while growing up.

Casey Poe is an OL from NE Texas that seems to be blowing up some. Impressive offer list. Any Longhorn interest? Or is Poe just not interested?
