Who else thinks we should have gone for the TD?

Nah, I like the score looking closer at this point. We shouldn't be within 8 points of ou today.

2 TDs would have tied it up.

2 TDs by an offense that has no prayer of scoring in the red zone.

problem is that it was 4 down territory there and we did not play it that way...so 4th down came and we had to kick the fg

fg was the correct call, you need a fg and td + 2pt conversion. that was the best chance to make that happen, i for the life of me don't understand why cody didn't get one crack at it. guy's a load and he'll score from 4 yards out.

Good god, the field goal was the right call. You go for it and don't make it, that's the ballgame there. You have to give yourself a chance to win, and I didn't see **** in that game that made me think the horns would have gotten into the endzone on 4th down.

yep, I was calling for Cody to run it in on 1st down. call timeouts if necessary, score a TD, then a 2 point conversion then.

The field goal was the correct call. Recover the funble or catch the punt, and the theory would have worked.

I had no confidence we would score a TD, so I was hoping for the field goal.
But then again, I had no confidence that we would drive down for a TD,
And then make the 2 point conversion.

The field goal was the correct call given that we'd already gone for the FG in the 3rd quarter.

Agree with other poster. You need two scores to at least tie.

If we had no timeouts left, then you go for the TD.

Man...field the punt and go 55 yards for the tying score....would have loved to see them get the chance. Coaches made the right call there.

That said, GD is inept at calling plays inside the 10. No creativity whatsoever. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
