As I recall, that was a fourth and long from short of midfield. I like the conclusion of the guy who posted the video that the refs cost NU the game. After all, it's inconceivable that NU wouldn't have gone the rest of the 50 or so yards in 2:30 with no timeouts and a Frank Solich passing attack and scored a td to win.
