How can I tell what preset code my tv is?

I have a Samsung SlimFit HDTV. I have a stereo system with a universal remote. I am trying to program the Samsung TV and the manual for the stereo lists like 10 Samsung TV preset codes (4 digits). I tried all and no dice. I looked in my manual to find the preset code but can't find it in there. I googled it and no luck either. Any other ways to do it?

 

you might have to go to the store and buy a new remote

 

Get a Harmony remote. You won't regret it. I have the 880 and I couldn't be happier with it.
