Link to your source to establish pseudo-credibility and prove nothing but further speculation.

Thanks and have a nice day.

I wouldnt jump the gun on this...he has only been in town for an hour, and Mack had to prepare something for the press conference.

I think Ketch reported that be forwarding someone else's tweet.

I agree. This will work out well for Texas. I feel confident we will have a quick turnaround.

DMN is reporting it based on Chip Brown's tweet.

DMN is using Brown's TWEET as their source, so if Chip is wrong so is the DMN...

and it is common knowledge that if Harsin accepts the position, it would be co-OC, as was reported earlier this morning...so if Chip is wrong, he will just say either his contact was off, or that IF Harsin accepted they would have been.

When I see something that says Harsin has agreed to terms and SIGNED, then I will worry about the title.

Sorta done with co-anything and coaches in waiting. Everyone gets a specific job and is accountable for it. No titles to soothe egos or be something they are not.

What do all of you think may be the realistic chances that we will hear something tonight? I just want it to be over. I really didn't have a dog in the Chryst/Harsin hunt. I am very excited about both. I just want it to be over.

I really like how each hire is given their own day / dedicated time for introduction.

Mack Brown IMO has done an Outstanding job in this hiring process and I love the coaches coming to Texas. Sorry I reported News that wasn't confirmed but hopefully Friday will be the day and all of this will be over. [IMG]

I think this team has improved their chances greatly of kicking the other teams *** every week.

What would the job responsibilities be for co-coordinators? Who does the play calling? Who puts the game plan together? If there is a disagreement over personnel, who makes the decision?

I can't remember this for certain, but weren't there co defensive coordinators at Oklahoma 3-4 years ago?

I trust Mack on this. However, I keep wondering why we just don't give full responsibility to Major. Yes,there will be growing pains, but I think he is destined to be our Head Coach some day. [IMG] [IMG]

There is a great post from Smart Football about the Boise offense. I not smart enough to post the link, but if you google 'Breaking down Boise' it will be the first one.

They credit the offense mostly to Peterson, but it gives us a good idea what Harsin will bring.

Can some smart person help me with the link.
