Funny story. When I was in grad school in Chicago, my girlfriend at the time wanted to make me some chili. She showed me a recipe for Cincinati chili. I politely said I won't like that, because no chili can have cinimmon in it and taste any good. She made it anyway, and it tastes rank. Then she got all upset that she had cooked for me (she wasn't really a cook at all) and I didn't like it. Reason! Will women never listen to it, I said I would hate it based on seeing the recipe and then you make it so I can tell you once again it tastes rank!

Hopefully you finally found yourself a nice Texas girl.

PS: Beans in chili is a hangin' offense.

That was years ago. I moved back to Texas as soon as grad school was over and did in fact marry a nice Texas girl.

Every Cincinnatti chili recipe I've heard of forgets one important step: DISCARD BEFORE EATING

Everytime I'm in Ohio some ******* local tries to tell me I need to go eat at Skyline Chili. It's a fast food joint up there that passes spaghetti sauce off as chili and enjoys a cult following not unlike In-&-Out Burger in California.

The next Ohioan that mentions that Ragu **** to me is getting kicked in the nuts.

I have a great Cincinnati chillllli recipe,

First you make real chili, no beans, or spagetti.

    Eat the real chili.

Wait 4 or more hours or overnight.

    Wallah!!!!!

    Cincinnati chillllli

Drop your Cincinnati chilllllli off at the pool.

    Flush!
