At the Orange-White game Sunday, they were selling football lockers from the dressing room remodel for $300. I intended to buy one for the "Man Cave", but when I got a look at them I changed my mind. They were 7 1/2' feet tall and made out of blond particle board. I guess I expected orange, metal lockers like you have in high school. They could have been cool though, if you bought the Longhorn helmet to put in the top and hung a couple of Longhorn jerseys in the middle. They also had a silent auction with framed jerseys with Earl and Vince's signatures. Pretty cool, but expensive and according to the sign up sheet the signatures were "facismiles unless noted otw". So, I came home empty handed.
Those lockers were garbage. I'm not sure why anyone would've bought one. Of course, I don't understand why anyone would've bought sod squares either.
What's next, used urinal cakes for $20 each? an actual UT jock so you can sniff it? 5-7 should have told the whole program we're getting a little bit big for our britches, as they used to say
I guess you have not priced quality lumber lately. One 4x8 sheet of good ash or maple will run $80. or more. Not that the locker are worth the price, but I would say they have at least $100. of materials in them.
You can probably find a piece of rebar for less than $75.00 too, but I don't think that's the point Texas Auctions
