interesting encounter between one fo the 9/11 victims wives and obama. I was not aware that Holder was still investigating and contemplating bringing charges against the KSM interrogators. Obama seem a little sensitive on the issue. Debra Burlingame, the sister of Charles "Chic" Burlingame (pilot of the plane that crashed into the Pentagon) met with President Obama today, along with other families who were victims of 9/11. Burlingame said she confronted Obama about Attorney General Eric Holder prosecuting the men who interrogated KSM, which may have produced intelligence leading us to bin Laden. Burlingame describes the encounter with Obama: "As a former attorney I know you can't tell the Attorney General what to do, he said, 'No, I can't.' But I said 'we -- that shouldn't stop you from giving your opinion. We wouldn't be here today if they hadn't done their jobs. Can't you at least give them your opinion.' And he said 'no I won't,' and he turned around and walked away." The Link
i may be done with the internet. Seriously? on that same page, there is another blurb about a father Of 9/11 Victim saying: 'Obama "Putting Too Much Spotlight On Himself"' i swear, anyone with an axe to grind can get immediate national attention these days. It's a sickness.
I saw some very sincere moments and warm exchanges with the families today. Of course there are going to be some that will nitpick and never be content with any result. Kind of like some posters on this board. lol
Yo, don't be so melodramatic. What's the problem, the fact that this lady, took possibly her one chance to speak directly to the POTUS, on a issue that is close to her? Or, is it because general posted it here? Maybe she has a point, most of us have no way of ever knowing, one way or the other. Besides, if you quite the internetz, who is going to give the SEIU-DNC rebuttals on hornfans? I don't think you want to be quitting a job in this economy.
Honestly, this is just a bad response from Obama. I am not commenting one way or another on his position. We all have opinions on that. He should have said something like this: "I too am thankful for all those in our intelligence and military who are working so tirelessly to be sure those responsible for this terrible act are brought to justice.' I believe Obama is thankful, and that he could have said this in all sincerity to this grieving woman without saying 'No' which is the report. It really is out of his hands anyway, so this would be the best response, to me. (or something along those lines obviously)
I visited Drudge earlier today and counted five negative stories involving Obama. That didn't take long.
True that, but why go on Fox News? ___________________________________________ There are no other networks that would dare present the president in a negative light for any reason.
No one should be critical of Dear Leader. _____________________________________________ unless they are racists.
