You think there is more power on this team than we are seeing because they are not allowed to swing away?

    Montalbano up with bases loaded

    Grounder to second ends inning.

Only this offense could manage four hits and only score one run. [IMG]

Top 6, Cole is still on mound, he has made one bad pitch and that is why Horns trail 2-1.

Grounder to Etier at second for first out.

Do we teach our hitters to look at every first pitch? Seems like we never swing at first pitch strikes and are always batting behind in the count.

    Bottom Six.

Horns have 8 hits to TSU's 3 but trail 2-1.

Time for Horns to get some runs [IMG]

Kevin Lusson leads off popping out to shallow right.

The years Texas won the Championship in Omaha they had plenty of power on offense, they did not just play small ball, they hit several homeruns in Omaha. This years team does not bring that to the plate.

Seems to me this year more than ever we swing at the first pitch.

We have 9 hits, we just can't seem to put them together back to back.

Texas State making a pitching change.

Their starter went 5 and a third giving up nine hits but just one run, he is responsible for runner on first.

Travis Ballew in for Bobcats he is 4-2 with 5.06 ERA.

Patience at the plate except for one batter and it gives us the lead.
