Millions of dollars of produce rotting in Georgia

HITH -- Right. Maybe we need to decide that even if you are not a money manipulator, a CEO nor possessor of technical skills that can't yet be outsourced to India that you still deserve to be compesated decently for your labor.

 

Eliminate the government cheese and there will be some that will be willing to do the work.

Unfortunately there will also be some that are willing to rob those doing the work come payday.

 

So if we get rid of illegals working in the fields, wont farmers raise wages to attract folks to replace them and sell their produce at a higher price to the grocery stores? And wont the stores then pass on the cost to the consumer which takes extra money out of our pockets that was originaly (In part) going toward supprorting illegals in the first place?

 

There IS a legal guest worker program that allows unlimited numbers of non citizens to come here legally and do agriculture work and then go back.

Any farm/ agri business that whines they have crops rotting because a law made it tougher for an illegal should be investigated since we know who has been using illegals.
Force the businesses to obey the law and the number of illegals will drop in a hurry
No job, no reason to sneak in.

I did not say it was simple, Nothing in business is simple.
Ever tried to get a permit for anything? or a license for a business? or keep up with city county state or federal gov't regs for any business? How about when city reg contradicts a state reg which contradicts a federal reg?

It is not simple but it is legal and allows for unlimited workers

 

This provides an opportunity to reduce unemployment and likely reduce some diabetes problems at the same time.

 

It's almost as if Americans have become so lazy that they would rather suckle from the teat of the government rather than to do hard work at low wages.

These workers make $10+ an hour. Why do that when they can sit on their ***, eat free processed food paid for by everyone else and get fat whose health bills will also be paid for by us. I think everyone on welfare should be required to do something for the government to receive that monmey even if it is picking up garbage on the side of the road.

BUT they would hire unknown and unverifiable illegals?
Do you think these illegals come with verifable resumes of peanut experience or even have verifiable names?

 

If these people are SOOO valuable then businesses and illegals should be willing and or forced to abide by our laws.

IF someone presents a fake SS and ID then that person isn't considered illegal, are they?
Why would someone with ID that is working leave?
