Yes it's early in the process. The SEC will most likely have an unbeaten, or a one loss team, so they are in. Who's the most likely opponent? Can OSU hold on to go undefeated? Clemson? Stanford? Who do you think has the best chance? I was hoping the Wisconsin could hold on. I would have paid money to watch Delaney try to explain to the rest of the Big 10 why an undefeated team from the B1G didn't make the championship game.

If Stanford can win out, they'll have a pretty good shot. Still see OU beating Okie State. Haven't seen Clemson play and am still to shocked they are undefeated to process the thought they may finish the regular season that way.

Wish we could have had an undefeated B10 team left out, but that dream is dead. Next most interesting scenario is what happens if Boise is undefeated and everyone else has at least one loss. If that doesn't happen we will probably still see BSU-Bama/LSU in the Sugar.

First, I give USC better than even chance to beat Stanford Saturday. USC owes them one, from a few years back. That first win by Stanford, that I think was at USC.

Second, if OSU loses, and if USC handles things as I think is in the writing, then you've got 1-loss teams. Except for Boise.

My odds on the end game right now is this, crazy as it will sound.
And all-SEC final with 1-loss teams playing, or the top SEC finisher vs. an undefeated Boise team.

    So... undefeated OSU
    or two SEC 1-loss team,
    or SEC vs Boise

Looking at the tea leaves, Stanford will run out of luck (!).
It could still be winner of LSU-Alabama to win the SEC undefeated, and still play the loser of that game in the title game. I give that 30 percent to happen.

Only OSU going undefeated will prevent the scramble.

I think Boise has the best shot to come in #2.
    OSU after that.
Then a 1-loss SEC between LSU - Alabama to get a rematch.

I could be terribly wrong, but I'm doing my own thinking here.

i dont know why i think this, but my gut says that the winner of the bama/lsu game is going to be the only undefeated team (besides boise).

i think stanford loses to oregon and okie st loses to ou.

"I could see the winner of the rematch of Mich St and Wis perhaps jumping some of the lesser undefeated schools."

And you wonder why none of us cares about your opinion as an "outside consultant"

Big 10 champ jumping undefeateds would be quite a stretch. I'm thinking Stanford has the best shot to continue its win streak. USC is not eligible and the Cardinal have taken 3-4 with two of those coming at the Colosseo. Oregon goes to the Farm this year. How about Clemson? They look pretty salty, or is it a lack of competition?

I actually misread your post. I thought you said a 1-loss B1G would be higher in the pecking order than non-B1G 1-loss teams. Maybe you should re-evaluate based on how 1-loss B1G teams have fared in recent BCS polls.

Eh, 2nd best championship game isn't much to brag about. B12 doesn't have one. Pac10 is a 2-team league. ACC's has always been terrible.

can't wait for MSU-Wisky. Oh wait, already saw that one...
