    No doubt that would get a 15 yarder today. Awesome hit, but the game has changed where you can't hit a guy hard and high anymore even if it's not helmet to helmet.

    Yea, they played that highlight reel of historic UT hits again during the KU game on Godzillatron. We doubted that any of those hits would be legal today [​IMG]

    Was at both of those games. Just a few rows up from the Brackens hit and we all just went "yikes" when that happened. [​IMG]

    The Vasher hit would have drawn two 15 yarders today. One for the hit and one for the celebration!

    I think you're right... if the Vasher hit happened today, they'd flag it... which is ********. Granted, a guy running down the field looking backward for the ball is a "defenseless player," but what should you do, let him catch it?

    The Sergio Kindle hit on Potts and Vasher on Francis are both good as well.

    The Tony Brackens one is still it for me because that was my time on campus as a student.
