But, based on The Asset's practice reports, D. White had a good week of practice. The TD seemed to give him more energy and it carried over in the week. I'm sure Miles will also get more PT.
Sorry to hear that. Better to rest him if there is any doubt about his full recovery than have him get hurt further. Hope he gets well and can play against KState and aggy. That's when we'll really need him. Still think we take Mizzou with no problem.
Something is going on here. If he doesn't play next week, the injury is a lot more serious than what is being told, and we will next see him at the start of fall practice next year.
watching that play unfold on TV, I'd be surprised if it wasn't a serious injury. it looked pretty bad
It's too bad that Jaxon isn't healed up yet, but it's far, far better that he be given a chance to fully heal before he plays again. The last thing any of us want to see is Jaxon injuring his knee again because it hadn't fully recovered. There are plenty of capable Longhorn WRs that can make plays in Jaxon's absence, so it's time for them to step up (just like Joe did when Malcolm was sidelined).

My guess is it's a mcl sprain and since we plan to run the ball they can afford to have him sit and let it heal.
You get a limited number for the travel team so it's not surprising he's not going. I think the fact that he was practicing at all is encouraging.
