They might be going down, but by 9? Thats a big number against a team that has scored a lot of points and been in every game except OU.

Did this come out before they knew our best player is out? I may have to morgage my house for this.

Dude, I think KU had like 3 first downs against us. It will be a massive beat down.

Actually I see ATm winning by 40+. And, easily.

I thought only giving one at Missouri was a sure thing then I find out MB and JB aren't playing and then Fozzy goes down.

Not sure what to think of -9, unless KSU can't attract any bettors.

Maybe KState QB is out or something.... there is no way that is right. Can we even score more than 3 TD's and doesn't KState avg. like 40+ points?????

I imagine this will come way down as betters start putting their money where their mouth is.

Texas proved they couldn't overcome a 9-point deficit when Mizzou had them down 14-5. So how is that going to get better when you start off down 9 against a 6-2 KSU team?

    This line is NUTZ

    BUT, let's review

The Vegas wise guys had Texas favored by 9 in the opening line against Kansas, and that line stretched out to 14 1/2. While Kansas fans may have liked those points, it was a beatdown

THEN, after that beat down and back to back 400 yd rushing games, Texas opened as a mere 1-point favorite over Mizzou

    Sucking UT fan's money? Perhaps..
....it would have been very nice to know the status of Bergeron and Brown before the game started and the bookies closed the line..

    Somebody knew

Now we have this confusing line..it makes no sense, but neither did the other lines..

i thought georgia -13 vs auburn was a lock last week. UGA came out and dominated. these lines that seem so easy scare me from experience

don't you guys think some of the books will take this game off the board because of so many injuries?

Colleges don't report injuries, but I remember the pros used to have to report injuries.

Looks very much like a Vegas trap game...Texas will win and cover and vegas will make a **** ton of $$$.

So dont mortgage your home just yet.

If the refs start calling pass interference on KSU while the passes go sailing 15 yards over our receiver's head - we'll know they are on the take.

mosk, this really could be the best test of the betting lines I've ever seen. I don't know what the line was the other day, but at the end of the TCU-Boise game, when that horrible call went against TCU made me wonder.

But this setup is too good. Refs owe us a big call, line totally out of whack, way too many starters injured to even have a line. should be good. I can honestly see a crazy way we win, but for us to win by 9+ is totally incomprehensible to me.

Boise was favored by 15. Those calls were more about TCU leaving the MWC and the conference needing the 15mil BCS money.. As ir works out TCU could still make a BCS bowl if Houston loses

    The Link

if these numbers are correct, there are several games that have more than 90% of the money on one side of the line, including Kansas St. This would conflict with the idea that sportsbooks move the line to get even money on both sides

Boon, not necessarily. I am pretty sure that is the percent of people betting for a particular side. So %90 of the public betting on that side does not mean %90 of the money. You can have 1 person be $1000 on team A vs 10 betting $100 on team B, same amount of money but 91% of the people bet on team B.
