I pulled for Ash when he was in and then Case. Not sure that it really matters who starts but at this point I guess its ok to give Case a shot at the start. Its not that he played a lot better than Ash but he did have 1 drive for the only TD for Texas. Ash also made what I thought was worst decisions.

Whatever, I will cheer for whomever starts.

In the words of the great Bill Bradley at the coin toss of the 1968 UT-aggy game..."It don't make a ****"!! It's true again this year but this time it's which one is going to lead us to 1TD and 2 FGs. We lose this game big.

If going on pure stats - McCoy. If looking at which QB the O responds to - McCoy.

I won't say we will win, but weight do better than the last couple of outings.

They are both the worst QB's UT has had in modern history. It is too bad Gilbert got hurt and transferred, he would probably be the starter again by now.

If Gray is out, they are going to be really hurting at RB, and Fuller is in the dog house. Basically take Swoop out of the game and they don't have much else. I don't see them scoring more then 21. We gotta be able to run the ball and score some points, but one way or another, there will be no blowout.

17 pts also seems to be a good number to beat us.

    Depends on the Ref's.
They will probably decide the outcome.

I hate to say it but 14 points beats us. Defense is salty for sure but if you can't put up more than 1 TD in two games, no matter how good the defense is, you will lose. If I thought we could run the wishbone competently, I'd take my chances with that right now.

At this point you gotta start McCoy. I do think if our backs are better, we outta be able to run the ball. I'd do a lot of wildcat and overload the line. Do whatever it takes to win the next 2 games against weak defenses and worry about next year next year.

Might as well go back to the helter-skelter switchouts from earlier this year. That seemed to work somewhat. At least it is a bit more deceptive. Starting either one and leaving them in does not seem to work.

You have to start McCoy. Probably won't matter these next 2 games.

I think you have to start Case. It's not that he's earned it. It's just that Ash has earned the right to sit. If McCoy can just make fewer egregious throwing errors to open receivers, our strong Defense might not be wasted....again.

Come on guys, have faith in aggy. I'm sure they will come up with the worst defensive scheme all year and we'll roll to a 12-9 victory.

Helter Skelter looked okay until we ran into OU, at which point I felt that Case's play suffered from the inconsistency - he certainly was not feeling the game right when he was in there and that is what it seemed led to at least one of his fumbles. Ash may have a better arm, but so did Garrett and they both seem to have troubles with our players receiving the ball. Their picks are like a running back who puts the ball on the ground - it's painful to have to play them.

One would hope that with time, our receivers don't tip the balls into the other teams' hands - but the only way for that to happen against a good defense is for our receivers to catch those balls. And then our quarterback can look good again.

Start McCoy, play Ash in special packages. If McCoy struggles, give Ash more snaps. Maybe not starting will reduce the pressure on Ash. Maybe starting will give McCoy some sort of edge.

Saturday was a QB meltdown where neither QB played as well as they have shown in the past.

I'd say Mizzu and KSt have a better D than aggie. Our D looks to be dominate right now. Not saying we're going to win, but I can't see aggie winning easily. My guess is 20-16 aggie and they run off to the sec claiming they were tired of beating UT and wanted tougher competition....

Agree with those who say Case should be given the opportunity to start not because he has played great, but because David has shown that he should sit. David is unable to throw well enough to help the offense move the chains with any regularity at all, and long drives work against him in that the more he throws, the more likely his next pass will get picked off.

David should, however, help the team by running the Wildcat formation in 3rd-and-short and red zone situations, and throw an occasional pass from the Wildcat to keep defenses honest.

Only one qb showed big play potential, so we must start...Cody Johnson.
Otherwise, not much to choose between. Neither seems to be a difference maker.
